Thanks, I was using the world western mostly to refer to american/Hollywood commercial works and that's what caused the misunderstanding. Europe has some very interesting youth lgbt shows too

Fully agree on the characters' questionable morality, which is funny because that's what western fans dislike asian lgbt content for 😂Do you mean indie movies? Frankly I gave up on western lgbt movies for a while because all high profile movies and the Oscar baits usually go for SadNeSS and tRaGeDY or gay biopics where they almost omit the gay part. I also hate how most lesbian plotlines often involve married women. Just please give me something else for once.

You're doing a disservice to her by writing comments like this. The knetz are already angry and you're spinning the issue into it being about people not liking her.
The reactions would've been the same if the lead was the most beloved korean actress or an idol.

As for why they're angry, imagine a bloody struggle for freedom and democracy, where a lot of very young people lost their lives, got tortured or lost their loved ones or their futures. And where the government used an excuse of catching north Korean spies to do it to them. The people who experienced these events are still alive! And now there's a tv show saying hey so the bad guys aren't so bad and they might've been justified in their actions because there were north Korean spies running around!
I hope there's a huge misunderstanding that would get corrected in episode two for the sake of everyone involved.

And all 3 ended up miserable. The wife - because she wasn't loved, the guy - because he could not love his wife neither he could forget his ex, and the ex who got dumped for such "shitty" reason. Probably an ideal relationship in anti's eyes

And just to add, according to the insanely high moral standards which people apply to asian lgbt dramas, there's only 1 WESTERN lgbt movie called Love, Simon that fits. The rest of the western LGBT movies would never pass their insane purity and moral tests. Some even have predator directors who made the experience horrifying for the actresses involved. In fact naming LGBT movies with happy endings is even more difficult 😂

Again parroting 3 words like a clueless twitter child is not a valid criticism. The show creators are not your parents nor teachers, it's also not a documentary that must educate you on anything. It doesn't owe you a thing.
Just because you don't like something it doesn't mean it's trying to justify, fetishize, normalize anything. The show is telling a story, in this case it's about two flawed people who make mistakes, learn from them and improve as people. You can criticize the execution, acting, not liking the dynamics or anything actually existing and so on, but pointing fingers at the show creators and fans for JuStIFy, ToXiC, ProBlematIc just because you simply fail to understand that fiction is not here to educate you, nor it's anyone's moral compass is just a clown behavior.
