But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
The "separation" at the end of the episode would've been fun but I guess the director and staff know better what would work.
The anime adaptation was so good, sadly we aren't at the stage where japanese BL would get a high budget love action movie franchise. How is the latest arc? I'm somewhat scared of catching up
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
There's three novels (and one extra) and they aren't available in English yet. If you have the means and know japanese or are prepared to mtl the novels all novels ate currently on sale on honto and other sites. I'm also mentioning the novel in Seven Seas occasional licensing questionnaire. In hopes they may pick them up.
!! Someone has also released the first chapter in English.
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
I left out some very memorable parts and overall my short summary can't depict it, but the characters are multilayered and very fun to read/watch. Kiyoi's POV chapters do wonders to his character and their relationship with Hira. Btw the novel is currently being translated!
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
The novel is really good and you can trust this author. Seeing Kiyoi chase after Hira is the funniest thing ever. Although it makes you feel bad for Hira's not realizing that he is worthy of love.
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
I don't see the fight or the hand kiss in the preview of the second episode? As for myself I'd give it 3 episodes because we need to see their bond grow.
But they may as well give us the graduation scene at the beginning of episode 3 since they're changing some things so you can be right!
King Yashiro says hello haha. Saezuru is getting a good live action one day would be a dream come true.
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
Hira's obsession grows, and their relationship changes from classmates to something of a king and his faithful servant who doesn't seem to realize that "even a servant" could be loved. They kiss after the graduation ceremony and Kiyoi tells him "see you". Which becomes a huge misunderstanding on Hira's part, since he decides it's a goodbye forever 😂😂😂 After a timeskip we find out that Hira is a university student who manages to make some friends!! Who are very understanding of his stuttering. One of these friends is Koyama. A wonderful and kind guy who falls in love with our Hira kun. But as it always happens he meets Kiyoi again among Koyama's brother's theater members. Cold princess Kiyoi who couldn't forget Hira and had been thinking about him all this time, thinks Hira and Koyama are dating, which drives him insane. Which makes him even more bitter is that Hira turns down his invitation (it happened because it was Koyama's birthday they were celebrating together). Well things happen and Hira gets himself an anime spy outfit, finds out all info about Kiyoi's performance s and faithfully attends one of them. And guess who notices him? The very same ice princess Kiyoi, who attempts to find out whether Hira and Koyama are dating. Sadly he is dealing with someone who isn't aware he could be loved by Kiyoix so Hira doesn't understand that the guy has a huge crush on him. Things happen and Hira offers Kiyoi his aunts apartment. They start living together but Hira is still clueless about Kiyoi's feelings. What makes it worse that Kiyoi gets to understand what happens to the guy with no self-esteem who got called creepy by him. His attempts at flirting miserably fail because Hira still thinks that he is unworthy and he would never be with someone as Kiyoi. Here their relationship becomes (consensually) sexual, with Kiyoi trying his best to turn Hira into his boyfriend. While the novel has it's dark moments, the comedy never allows it to go completely dark or suffocating.
For some reason people started to demand lgbt romance to be pure and 100% non problematic soulmates cafe AU, when…
But even the main characters define themselves as not very normal. While there are different kind of relationships and different kind of love, and what's normal can be be viewed differently by everyone - stalking, seemingly one sided obsession and unbalanced relationship with one party not realizing he is worthy of being loved wouldn't work. That's why it takes a while for these two to reach the point where even the readers would go "ahh now it feels like they're really dating".
Don't some folks ever ask themselves this question: Who the hell I am to define what relationship is "healthy"…
For some reason people started to demand lgbt romance to be pure and 100% non problematic soulmates cafe AU, when heterosexual works can explore any kind of theme and topic regardless of how seemingly "unhealthy" it is. It's just how western fans are now. It's better to ignore reactions like that because neither side will come to an agreement and we don't need the comment section to look like a war zone.
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
Happy to see a fellow novel fan here! There's only six episodes in this season and I'm just going by the trailer, but they show Koyama and the sex scene, so we are definitely getting the post school arc. So I give the school arc two more episodes. With the third episode ending on their graduation kiss? I haven't seen any news about drama sequels but if the drama hits it big we might get much more. I'm crossing fingers it succeeds
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names…
It's based on a novel by the same name. Everyone involved, be it the author or the characters themselves, never call the start of their relationship healthy. The main characters are aware about the abnormality of it too. Some side are even weirded out by the way the two act towards each other and question whether they're normal. They don't start off as a healthiest couple. One is a guy without self-esteem who enjoys being called creepy and stalks his crush, while the object of his affection calls him creepy and fins a certain joy in the main character's obsession over him. Also, despite the class turning their back on Kiyoi and bullying him, the dynamics won't change for a while. Both of the characters and their relationship undergo an immense growth but it happens over the span of three books and one special, and this drama will only cover the first novel. So if you can't stand their relationship dynamic now, I genuinely recommend you to drop the drama. Because it takes a while for them to reach the point of being considered a healthy couple
I hate this bullying plot line, and honestly, it was never cool to begin with (why would anyone want to start…
But if you saw the episode you'd realize that the love interest doesn't allow the rest of the class call him names ( he also never refers to him as Hii-kun either) nor order him around, he also pays for the things he buys. In a way it saves Kazunari from being actually bullied by the class. And *sadly* mc, being the way he is, (NOW) is more than happy to be recognized and treated "in a special" way. The school setting is temporary also btw
When they'll stop making gay characters straight in the adaptations 🤠People have a right to be upset about…
It's so upsetting when things like this happen. What baffles me is how the webtoon industry is thriving, and how they could've picked any heterosexual story to adapt, yet they go for a gay guy's story and change absolutely everything including his own sexuality and the role in the story🤡 The bar is so low, the only thing we ask for is to not use gay stories for something like this. How is Mine by the way? I heard it did extremely well and considering one of the leads was a lesbian, it only makes it clear that gay characters can exist on Korean tv, yet some creators are just lazy cowards.
I don't know if you like bromance but the bromance here is pretty sweet. You'll skip a lot of unoriginal romance…
Thank you for the reply, but honestly the way the writer is treating the actual gay character is upsetting enough, bromance doesn't do it for me sadly. But hope it will live up to your expectations
I definitely ship young ran and soo-hyun at the point where we are stop talking about bl.They deserve each other…
When they'll stop making gay characters straight in the adaptations 🤠People have a right to be upset about gay erasure which is homophobic, because some of us are gay and it does send a certain message, just as much as you can be upset about our comments. Comment section is for everyone
