One of the best surprise BLs of all time for me. I had no idea about it beforehand, I just started watching it because of the time travel factor. But it was so wholesome, the relationships,the friendships,the maturity,all supporting everyone, healthy communications.. so freaking adorable. And Pisaeng is not just a green flag but a forest at this point.. one of the best Thai Bls for sure.❤️
The last two Episodes are chef's kiss. And the real hero is Cho seok Bong... What a performance 🤯 ... Also the power dynamics in Korea is pretty wild. It's everywhere, in schools,offices, colleges and in military too... Maybe that's why the bullying is crazy rampant there. Literally in this show every senior has bullied their junior. Nobody breaks the chain and if someone tries they get singled out and gets bullied. Wild to just even imagine.....

This is such an on point review... Honestly That ML suffering from PTSD and collapsing on the streets saying he'll kill himself and everything, with a history of attempting suicide and unresolved traumas,it's so severe and in return to that the other guy just kisses him. And that's it. He's cured. He now has no troubles!. He even forgives the woman who was the main culprit behind this. It's outlandish to say the least.
Chemistry feels lacking in the penultimate episodes. There's no emotional depth at all in between the actors, they're stiff, specially the one playing Kazuma. Feels like a robot is in autopilot in intense scenes. Also his mother?! She's the worst. I feel like it needed 2 more episodes to fully convey and resolve Ren's trauma. They wrapped it up in a flash.
I have seen some terrible acting performances than Dunk’s in Thai bls , so it’s not as bad as people are making it out to be . Opposite to Joong’s though ,he kinda falls short. People are saying it’s a slow burn but maybe they didn’t watch step by step . Anyway I think the reason why it seems slow because the viewers are watching it weekly. I watched 4 eps back to back and I didn’t mind the pacing.
I really liked the sisters bond. And how everyone had an arc and story of their own. It's an extremely slow paced drama and some scenes are too repetitive still the bgm and the depth of the story carried it forward.
Dropped it like a hot potato after watching just for 10 minutes because of the whiny ass attitude of Itt... It was too grating for my brain to bear. Maybe it's not for me.

After yoo jae threw the chocolates he said to han joon to clarify his thoughts whereas IMO it's him who needs to clear out his head because man he's a self centred jerk. Also would have loved to see how and why exactly their feelings developed for each other.... It's a pretty vague kinda series, they try to touch upon a few topics but everything lacks depth,the dialogues are also just vague and superficial.

Well if she's so capable of making a barrier of that intensity then she should be immensely powerful right. I'm not talking about physically powerful, she's definitely not it. But even with those magical powers, where was the utilisation? Only to make barrier? If she's so powerful to withstand that much training then she could fight off couple of those evil spirits which was never the case. There's always someone helping her in those situations. So even with that much power she had,it was useless.
Okay I am just going to say it out loud, the camera work is not it. The angles, the Focus in some scenes are just so weird. I understand in some scenes they just zoom in a lot on the actor that gives the feel that the viewer is experiencing the same situation as a first person but that's not what's happening here... otherwise the story is pretty good but not that investing/deep as it sounds. The acting is really good though.
Mr Jeng neglected all the signs of Pat's self centred immature behaviours just the same way I used to neglect Red flags in relationships. 🌚 Because otherwise I don't understand what made HIM pursue Pat from the beginning itself... That Pat character has no layers whatsoever... Only crying and whining about everything and thinking he's always right. Even after two years he has not done any self reflection to his past wrong doings and goes straight to blame Jeng again. 😑 The storyline and the timeline don't make any sense. Can't believe they were building so much tension up till 7/8 th episode just to get two MLs together and they broke up after one episode. Then what's the point to it?!.. 😐 The chemistry in the finale between Jeng and Pat seems a little off. I think they shot these scenes first and episode 10 later. Those kisses were fire. 🤯 Also unable to blv how they did Jaab Jen dirty. Their first kiss was so intense and then they just fizzled out. Half of the story writing is nonsensical and fillers. Only reason I started and stayed true to the last of this show is Man's portrayal of Jeng. He brings calmness to the chaos of this show. I hope to see him into something worthy of his talent soon.🩷
I accidentally got recommended to it and this is one of the most underrated BLs that I have seen. The story is different and balanced, the pacing is good, side characters keep you invested and the MLs chemistry is so palpable. It's not something extraordinary but still the concept is very fresh to me. The storyline is of regular working class people and not some business man or mafia or super rich CEO. Mork's dimples remind me of Pran's dimples and it's so cute. This is much better than the overhyped counterpart Thai bls that are coming out rn. Only downside are those deadfish kisses.
