Except NC scenes, this and tide of love s2 didn't have anything else to offer.
The intention was good with this with the artistic expression for peaches and stuff but it got lost so soon that the whole storyline ( or the lack thereof) became irrelevant.
The second half of this season feels so disconnected from the former episodes. It feels like random plots were loosely sown just to make another season out of the much loved first season. I don't even remember what happened in the first episode bec that plot doesn't mean anything in the 9 th episode anymore. I'm just happy to know that it's ending.
Believe it or not I have never been able to sit through any of the whole series of ForceBook before. I have dropped every single one of them except this one and only friends. Simply because there're other more interesting characters present to elevate them in these 2.
Stating that, here not so surprisingly they're my least fav couple out of the three. FaifaWine>> YoGun> ArcArm is what my ranking would be and the side characters have taken cake in every segments of the three couples. I loved their friends.
And AuoBoom with that limited time and space created 🔥. Overall was a good watch.
A lot of people in the reviews have claimed this to be some really deep and symbolic series but it's not true. It tries to but it simply ends up being an erotica *orn video. It doesn't convey anything.
The one aspect which I found was really new was the usage of three colours in three of the sessions, black, white and pink. But that's it.
How did the therapy changed the ML? Why did he need therapy? These should have been the whole point of the series. Obviously he'd be comfortable with the therapist to explore the tactics but how did it impact his life in the future,in relationships, those were the things that should have been shown. What we got are multiple questionable Kamasutra positions . It was far from being sensual. Just hardcore s*x.
Idk why certain jbls are so afraid of showing intimacy. I'm not talking about directly kiss grab their partners att but subtle signs of intimacy can be done, specifically when it's revamped for second season.
The leads look like, they want to stay further away from each other. They live together but behaves so weirdly. The kisses are just touching lips, their bodies, hands stiff.
I really admired the first season. This one is getting difficult to swallow.
Ps- I really liked the touching the earrings scene during the photoshoot. 6 eps in , it's the only memorable moment so far.
It's not new that the drama was not well written in the first place or directed tbh but man it looks like they themselves gave up on it by the time it was reaching the finale. So anticlimactic. 😮💨
On a side note I'll rather be a single child than have a brother like Jade. He's a police officer, his brother is in danger from a serial killer, almost gets killed, rounds up in a hospital and all Jade did is unnecessary flirting with Kamin, and almost nothing to actually investigate properly.
I don't know why but Force's face always holds this uninterested expression which kinda dims the fun of the surroundings. In some scenes it work, in most cases it doesn't.
Probably the best high school bl series I have seen with normal expected circumstances and livelihood. No unnecessary drama or mystery or third party involvement. It's so cute and mature as well. Everyone should watch it. The 4 episode ties up the story well.🥰
PS - I was a math Olympiad student myself so really enjoyed to see something similar to that. Brought back memories of those intense days. Only I didn't find my fortune teller while solving maths 😂
Dunk needs to go back to acting workshops. What's this pause he's taking before saying each and every dialogue like he's trying to memorize it. No expression coming on his Stoic face and what's with this posture of him trying to look bigger,so his hands are always on his hips and his arms are so awkwardly placed.😵💫
Nobody does any investigation in this drama. They thought taking out guns randomly, showing police badges and having forensics mean,it's a crime drama. Goddess bless you from death was so much better with tight storytelling and better acting. This one is heavily relying on JoongDunk's chemistry to work. Their kisses and close scenes are just acting as fillers atp.
Ps: Iam so happy to see Fluke back. I have loved him in every drama of him that I watched. Hoping to see more of him.
Spoiler ahead:::::
I think puifai is still alive bec hers is the only body whose Post mortem was not done by Fluke's character. I also think another person helping her is the other doctor phut,(played by sing) bec in one scene where they're investigating the CCTV, they found the killer wore glasses. He's the one who's always wearing glasses and can have easy access to all the drugs/poisons/chemicals.
I'm on episode 2. I don't know when this drama was shot, like before or after Last Twilight, but it seems like Sea is still in his character from that series, he hasn't moved on from Day. Jimmy is as fine as he is always. Also the editing is choppy.
I'm still clueless why certain jbls even get another season.
In every second season not much progression has happened between the leads, they still behave like the first time they met, maintaining distance, shy and all. Kisses or intimacies don't slap, feels like they do this just for fan service. Except my beautiful man s2 i can't remember another JBL which actually used the potential of the couples much.
This one unfortunately almost in it's halfway is feeling exactly like that. The intensity from Sahashi's side feels lackluster, Natsume is okayish. Maybe they'll pair up Atsushi and the new guy. But it's still meh.
Ps. One good thing I really liked in season 1 is the communication between the leads. Very few jbls do that. In this season also they're communicating kinda fine but they don't give off couple vibes. It's so lukewarm, the writing is also very strained. I don't know what they'll fill the remaining 6 eps with with this bored acting.
The cinematography and lighting in some scenes reminded me of remnants of ITSAY. The three couples are also likeable, stories given to them were also rounded off nicely. But something was off about this series, maybe it was the pacing. With this pace it'd have suited 8eps framework the most. The story was not repetitive but got stretched too much. Still honestly this show was a surprise finding that I was happy to receive.🩶

Never watched quite something like this. 😂😵💫

Not much substance. It is watchable only because of JimmySea's natural chemistry. The script it not as par as their quality.
Also the editing is choppy.
