interesting but didn't really impact me all that much - maybe because i was hoping for more thrill? and villainizing a trans woman just left a sour taste in my mouth tbh.
Interesting movie, and the group had nice chemistry! And Minje admitting to not being interested in dating... I wonder, can she be read as aromantic? I think that'd be nice
why must kids always reconcile with their parents? i wish more dramas were like IOTNBO in that the kid is allowed to not forgive their parent. if Chae Rok only remembers being beaten maybe uh don't encourage him to reconnect with his dad? idc if the dad feels bad or there might have been moments he was a good dad (when Chae Rok was too little to remember...) tbh he abused a whole team of kids
also Min Hee.... I can't believe what she said! Jae Nam was obviously hurt and she didn't care?? (was it because he didn't like HER? ugh) yeah she didn't mean to catch him coming out on her live (thought she was definitely going to use his confession "to her" for views...) but when she told him not to confess his feelings to Seo Hyun that really pissed me off. What kind of friend says that and expects them to still be good after?
I'm watching this drama with my mom (her first kdrama) because we both love ballet. this new development (re: SDC) hits very close to home for both of us, but her in particular, because it also happened to her mom/my nana. That last scene in the snow in ep 8 was so moving.
He's bi and feeding/blood drinking has always been a metaphor for sex. Great character and great performance.
so true so true i just didn't know if they were going to play it off as being 'not like that' (despite it being like that) but then that ep 4 line happened lol
you know when Chi Woo said "I don't care what the sex is" I was like oh he's bi., but then he talked about feeding so I was like "oh he means for blood". Now with ep 4 and him talking about sex drive and feeding I think he might actually be bi. Whether or not that's canon it's what I want to hc anyways lol
