just watched ep 12 and i'm actually kinda frustrated that this grabbing method was there all along and she never used it. going on about how she doesn't know what happened that night but only now is she grabbing her mom to see her memories.....
usually with movies with a theatrical release we need to wait that long for the dvd to be released + someone to pick it up for subbing/for a streaming service to license it ;-;
For drama watchers here are the differences: updated effects in a few places so it's prettier + post credits scene hinting at season 2. Everything else seems to be exactly the same as I remember~
Ahhh it comes out tomorrow! I hope the rest of us international fans don't have to wait too long to see it too... 6 months is standard but I really hope it can somehow be faster lol;;
While I do hope that people take notes on some parts of this drama (give me more dark leads! I know they're out there but give me more lol), the writing was sometimes lacking, especially near the end, and that's more important to me than a well dressed cast. It was mostly good, but I wouldn't personally give it the title of "game-changer" because it wasn't an astounding drama in the end even in the realm of dark dramadies. However I can see that people who are new to kdramas liked it a lot more than I did lol. To each their own!
would you recommend watching this? not sure if I should shell out $9 for this when there's so many other movies…
Tbh the costumes are pretty but the plot is a bit janky and relies on you being familiar with The Tale of Genji to comprehend what's going on... I'd wait for this to hit viki or something imo I don't think it was worth the 10 bucks
The actors did a good job here! And Strongberry is so good at writing honest connections between people in their movies that I always get so curious about what happens next between the couples - I enjoy watching their love so much!
