Can someone help explain the ending? How is Yang Jing alive?
I think it's because the ceremony being conducted was meant to bring a spirit back to life, so instead of the villain Jing Hua was revived when the villain's spirit was destroyed
A beautiful, thoughtful, melancholic piece. I loved it! Full of symbolism through lighting, music, photos, and other little things which communicated a lot. I thought it was very artfully put together and well acted.
It did seem like that tbh but everyone including his brother seem to hate Joon's existence that gave me feeling…
Yeah idk if he actually hates him or if he acts cold to keep him distanced from the family, but there's definitely more to the story... I hope we get to see his side at some point (tbh i'm sure we will the more we get into Yeo Joon's story)
I don't like how coldly his brother treats him, but why does it feel like he knows and wants to keep Yeo Joon away from his abusive parents? maybe i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt too much but it seemed like he didn't want to leave him there there's gotta be more to it
the pacing is a bit slow but the production is really good and i liked the actors. the plot is well thought out, though i kinda figured it out before the finale, but that might just be me because some people say they didn't know! an enjoyable watch!
I don't think he meant it violates the rules I think he meant they couldn't do it because of the rule. Like they…
Yeah I think that was Shi Lei's follow up argument: that JYZ was against the theme but still accepted it, but still saying it's contradictory to the rule makes no sense to me.... it's not like they've never experienced romance before (or don't currently have feelings for someone), it's just they aren't allowed to date, so working on the concept shouldn't be impossible or contradictory to the rule. To me accepting romance themed commissions from clients isn't a contradiction to the no relationships rule in the workplace. If someone commissioned an engagement ring it's not like they would turn it down going "sorry i'm personally not allowed to date so..."
On viki they chose the word "contradict" i wonder what wetv translated that line as...
how is working on a romantic concept piece for work something that violates the singles rule? that's for actual relationships not art commissions? the couples are cute but the logic in this plot is sometimes all over the place jkdfhgs
Each time she is bewitched/comes into contact with a ghost, she loses a lot of heat and experiences hypothermia,…
Nowhere did I say I think she would've gotten the true memories earlier on with this tactic - or else where's the plot? but more that it's frustrating that this method existed all along and wasn't at least tried alongside In Beom. This isn't the first time touching her mom of course, but ep 4 she passed through her by accident while this time she is burning her name in incense, charging her hand(s), and physically grabbing her. It's not the same. She seemed more in control of the memory this way instead of being thrown into it unceremoniously when she fell through her mom. All i'm saying is that I think this should've been a new method she read in the '79 records or something in order to explain why she never tried to look into her memories like this before. The risks of doing such a thing reduced a lot once In Beom came into her life and began to restore her temperature so there's no reason why this wasn't at least an option that was explored until this moment. She could've tried it with him and failed to learn something new, or even suggested it and have it shot down by Hwa Jung, to show us that she knows it's a way but won't do it/is told she shouldn't do it alone.

I'm not having a problem understanding the risks or her motivations in doing this - I already understood those - I'm just staying that that option was always there and if she had In Beom with her hypothermia would be less of a risk so it's wild to me she is only doing this now.
