I think people don’t realize that you can only cram so much story into a short drama that has short episodes… So you can’t compare it to any of the larger dramas.

I was only watching dramas above a certain rating on Viki, but now I’m just gonna watch what looks interesting to me… Same goes for reviews I see on here, lol

Why can’t they make more supportive female friends in these shows? I’m really tired of the trope in dramas where one person has had a one-sided crush for several years and because of that they feel that they’re entitled to something from their crush, it’s ridiculous.
I had to add that she makes it seem like the only reason she was even friends with him for that eight years was because she was hoping he would get together with her… That is not a real friend.

Beyond that, despite the relationships, all feeling a little bit rushed… But that’s a short drama for you… I rather liked the rest of it. It had its moments that were less than ideal, but it was still a good use of my time. Lol.

I feel like Min Jun for the longest time, just didn’t want to put in real effort for a relationship. He kept saying that they were incompatible, which really wasn’t the case… They just both didn’t communicate well. Even after they realized that they had communication errors and could’ve done something to fix those, he was still not wanting to put in the effort and that is just ridiculous. Especially for a person who claimed to love the other person so much. I don’t know where people get the idea that all relationships are smooth sailing, there are no misunderstandings, and your mate just automatically understand you… Oh right it’s the bill of goods we’ve been sold by so many romantic stories. I was glad that this one seemed more realistic, but I did wish that Min Jun had not been so obstinate, heh.

But, I agree that they should’ve spent more time on who is going to end up being the main couple. However, I didn’t like Da On as much as others seemed to. He always felt insincere to me…he seemed to be what he was, a people pleaser. I also had a feeling from the beginning that Shin Woo was acting the way he did as a way to distance himself from his true feelings. Coming out is difficult, and it’s even more difficult in a society that reviles your true feelings.

I was upset to find out that the Manwha was so different. I am sick to death of these stupid, contrived love triangles in dramas. Especially when they make the childhood sweethearts come back and try to wreck things…who honestly only likes one person for their entire life, and then comes back later and tries to ruin their happiness? Do people really behave this way… I mean, I guess I wouldn’t be surprised because people are capable of being complete pieces of trash. But still, it just seems utterly ridiculous..

Another thing to remember, is that white is traditionally worn at funerals in China. Red is a color that symbolizes joy which is why brides traditionally wore red.

Traditional Chinese weddings, the bride wear’s red. Chinese weddings that have the bride in a white wedding gown have adopted western culture. But they don’t have the same traditions that we do in the west so you have to think about it from that perspective.

I thought she let him know quite succinctly that she didn’t like him anymore. He was the one who turned into a stalker.

And she committed criminal acts then they let her off too lightly. She was the worst!

I thought this was pretty okay until her parents found out about them dating. Their stupid prejudices were beyond annoying.

Though I liked him better than Chu Nan, who is let off far too lightly for what he tried to do. He tried to ruin the female leads life. I didn’t think he deserved to have any more airtime and felt he was completely despicable.

He was a jerk though. Let the leads misunderstand for too long. I hated him.

A lot of Taiwanese dramas seem to like making the female lead either a complete moron or a total bitch.
