Hye jin wanted to protect and shield jun ho "her top 1 student". But she went a bit overboard with it. "Everyone will be your competition"? "Don't be too complacent"? Did she have to say those harsh words? But jun ho being an optimistic person, accepted all her advice, even though they're harsh with a smile on his face. I loved how he sticked with his decision of becoming an acedemy instructor even when his parents were against it.
Yes, I noticed it. He banged the table that was in front of her on purpose, he wanted her to see her seriousness and devotion to his new career. What jun ho did, startled and infuriated her, she was so infuriated that she said "you have 10 minutes left". Hye jin got angry, but that troublemaking action of his earned him an extra point. Can you believe that? And did you notice? His style of teaching is very similar to hye jin's. While he was giving those lectures, hye jin was reminded of her younger self. I've got to hand it to jun ho, he never fails to praise his teacher for being exceptional and outstanding.
No matter how hard I try, I'm just not satisfied with the timeslot of kdramas. 2 episodes per week is just not enough. Back to the annoying teacher pyo, did you notice his apology was somewhat sarcastic? And that's not all, he's even hindering students from attending acedemy classes with his damn excuse of organizing an after class prior to their normal classes.
Yes, your comments are often lengthier than mine, I've gotten used to it by now. Both your comments and reviews are mostly journal like. But with detailed info of course. I'll definitely stay in touch pal, chatting about this drama is making the wait bearable.
I couldn't agree me. I thought she'd be supportive of his decision to become an instructor at her academy. But instead of being supportive, she tried to hinder and block his recruitment instead. That's indeed unexpected, I didn't expect the screenwriter to pen the story this way. But I'd say, it's because she cares about him, she didn't want him to quit his job on a whim. However, what she didn't know was that, joon thought it through before making such a decision. She thought he was being impulsive, little did she know that her student is no longer a high school boy, that he's grown up.
Furthermore, I liked how she later pondered about her decision upon listening to daechi chase director's advice. The advise hye jin gave to joon ho when she informed him of his employment was too harsh, can't she be a little nicer? I mean, she isn't talking to a stranger, that's her student for crying out loud. The previews of episode 3 looks promising, so I'm keeping the 9 for now. Episode 2 was not so bad as there's been some improvements compared with the first episode. Fingers crossed for episode 3&4!!!
Wonderful world flopped too much for me to call it my best show. I haven't watched remarriage and desires yet so I can't say much about it. but I'll be adding it to my plan to watch list. Speaking of my best noona dramas, for kdramas I'd pick "one spring night and the glory". And for cdramas, I'd pick "rattan and nothing but you". Those are my best noona shows till date, but it could change should midnight romance exceed my expectations!!
Yes, it's always the younger partner that chases the FL first. And it often takes a while before the older female partner is convinced. And I think that's going to be what we'll be seeing pretty soon. I think hye jin is going to refute joon ho with a hundred reasons why they can't be together. But I'm sure jun ho won't give up until he's able to convince her. I just hope we'll be seeing these scenes pretty soon.
Mee too, as I was 20 minutes in, I felt a little down. But as the drama progressed, it kept getting better. And it might seem unrealistic if they proceed with the romance too quickly, but it shouldn't take too long.
Yes, I noticed that scene. Nam cheong mi said "shall we grab a cup of coffee" and he said "okay", but his answer changed upon seeing hye jin. I hope to see a love triangle among those three. It'd be very interesting and fun to watch!!
I'm honored you liked it, There wasn't more to say about the romance as only 1 episode has aired. But I'll be updating it as soon as romance blooms. Episode 2 must have unlocked already, I'll be watching it pretty soon. I'm looking forward to how episode 2 will unfold!! I'll be looking out for your review soon, probably when episode 2 or 4 has aired? Be sure to notify me when you drop your review.
That reminds me, the ending of tender light was indeed very disappointing, I felt like the ending was twisted by the scriptwriter. I had no choice but to low its ratings to 8.5. You can give it a try, but I'd advice you skip the ending.
