That’s definitely no fairness. In a way the prince raised in palace are proud product of the Emperor, so if…
He's too unfair. The emperor's action thus far proved that he doesn't care about FX as much as he cares about LCZ. Its ironic, right? FX has five father figures, four of whom are not his biological father, but those four love him more than his own father.
"You're trying to clear out my son." Did the emperor just said those eight words "You are trying to clear out my son."? Li Cheng Ze has attempted to kill Fan Xian multiple times, but it's his slyness, intelligence, and skills that saved him. All of Emperor Qing's sons were raised in wealth and comfort, with the crown prince and LCZ even abusing their authority, particularly LCZ. In contrast, Fan Xian grew up on the outskirts and faced numerous assassination attempts upon arriving in the capital, with his sons being the main conspirators. So, I think emperor qing is not being fair uttering those words.
FX still has a longgg wayyyy to goooo . He is smart but not people smart especially not emperor smart. He needs…
He has his own unique way of doing things. Yes, CPP is very smart and knows how to plot silently. But you'd agree with me when I say FX is also as sly as CPP. Do you remember how he turned the tide when LMC wanted to impeach him?
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
Exactly, he's oblivious to his dark side. And here he was trying to get some dirt on zhou luo. "I ought to be the one protecting nan ya", It should have been me, nan ya should have fallen for me." I believe those were the thoughts going through lin fang lu's head.
I haven't started this yet, as I am rewatching Season 1 to reacquaint myself with all of the characters and prior…
I'm telling you, the excitement is worth it!! You made the right decision by rewatching season 1, it'll make you understand the second season better. I also rewatched the first season a few months ago, I rewatched it again a week prior to airing of season 2. And wow, the second season delivered yet again. And you're damn right, his arch enemies instead of dwindling are increasing, but his allies are also increasing. I love the way he stands up for common people, that's the fan xian I know!! "Joy of life season 2" deserves every bit of your time, and trust me. When you start watching, you might loose track of time as it's too interesting. I waited for 7 episodes to air before I started watching, I binged all 7 without any rest.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
I think it's was guilt and jealousy that made him think that way. The case could have been wrapped up as there were convincing evidence confirming nan ya's claims of self defense. But lin ruo fu just had to ruin everything with his reverse way of thinking. And honestly, I was very disappointed in him cause he failed nan ya once, and he ought not to make her suffer yet again. But what did he do? He failed her again. Although he's a police officer, he's a very dark side.
No ra made a mistake from the get go. And what's that mistake? Marrying such a trashy and selfish man. Yes, it's a thing of the moment that resulted to their marriage. But really, does that give woo cheol the right to walk all over her? Come to think of it, it's his fault no ra couldn't complete her study, even when she's the top 1 student in high school. The least he could have done was treat her better, but what? He wants to divorce her because they can't communicate? That's a lame excuse to give, he'd have said he had another woman instead of being sarcastic.
Hyun suk has a great personality, he came all the way from Russia to Korea to attend no ra's grandmother's burial. And he was surprised when he didn't see no ra at her own grandma's burial. That's why when they met again, he was extremely angry at her. But those anger didn't come from hate, but from care. He's sometimes immature when he's with no ra, just like during their high school days.
Hye jin was very disappointed. Her career as an instructor has spanned for a decade now or more, and I think that's the first time she's defeated so. She's really out of it to the extent she almost lost it, but it's a good thing jun ho calmed her down. And although only one student attended instead of the dozens that ought to be present, the duo did it. The class was a success cause they drew strength from each other.
You should definitely not give up now cause ahn pan seok dramas are often slow burn romance. And I guess, that's the direction "the midnight romance in hagwon" is headed, plus, its also a melodrama. So, romance may not bloom as fast as expected, but the show is doing pretty well as the chemistry of jun ho and hye jin is still awesome and firing!!
Yes, qin lan was wonderful in "the rational life", I loved the chemistry she and dylan wang had. They're really amazing. I trust her dramas to be interesting as she's a wonderful actress. By the way pal, have you watched rattan? It's a 2021 cdrama, and it's also noona drama. It's a very interesting drama, it's one of my best cdramas. The FL is much older than the ML in the drama, I think 60 years or was it 70 years? Anyway, she's older than the ML in real life and drama life.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
Yes, I agree. The case could have been closed long ago, but lin fang lu just kept delaying it with his excuses. I mean, he knows the personality of nan ya. So, why was he so hellbent on not believing nan ya when she said it was an accident? I think, his jealousy caused the incarceration of nan ya in the end.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
The ending was really disappointing. At least, after all the sufferings and hardship nan ya went through. She deserved to live happily with zhou luo and her daughter, don't you agree?
"Twenty Again" is indeed very impressive, although the FL is quite naive, and not the kind of character I prefer. Its still very lovable. Why did I miss such a wonderful show? It's already been a few months since you recommended it, but I was not convinced. I decided to try as I was waiting for "midnight romance in hagwon" to air, and wow! It's a hidden gem!!
Kim woo cheol is too shameless, his brazenness is reaching the roof. I can't believe he had it in him to tell his wife "ha no ra" to quit school, just because he finds it uncomfortable. I can't believe he's been cheating on his wife for 4 years already! Whose fault is it that she couldn't finish her studies? He only thinks of himself. And there's her son who she raised for twenty years, but what? He's also against his mother going to the same school as him? Because of him, she couldn't realize her dreams. And he of all people is also against it? But it's a good thing her son later supported her decision of going to school when he saw her perform onstage, and particularly when he saw the agreement of divorce woo cheol and no ra signed.
Cha hyun suk feelings for no ra haven't changed over the years, he just doesn't want to admit it. He's only angry at her because she sacrificed her dreams and ambition for a man that doesn't worth it. I haven't reached the scene where he confessed his feelings, but am really looking forward to it as I've already completed episode 10!!
Yes I agree, the white haired witch character is unnecessary. I think her character is somewhat a catalyst that will make hye jin and jun ho grow closer, don't you agree? It's her character that propelled hye jin into accepting the proposal of jun ho. Thus, making them grow closer. And I think when the competition is at its keenest, we might witness the romance we've been hoping for.
The scene where they hid together, and also when she's laughing while texting jun ho are my best scenes thus far. I hope episode 4 which I'm yet to watch will have more romantic scenes. Yes, many instructors are not pleased with the chance given to jun ho, including cheong mi, they deemed it as "preferential treatment". But that's life, people are not always happy about their fellow, most especially when their junior success outshine theirs. I believe hye jin and jun ho will be facing intra-office competition and jealousy-driven sabotage from now on.
You've good taste when it comes to dramas pal. So, I'll be adding "the magical women" to my watchlist.
Yes, "remarriage and desires could have had a detailed ending, not the ending that was given to us.
I'd say "one spring night" was awesome. And honestly, 16 episodes was not enough for me, I wanted its episode to be longer, something like 18 or 20 episodes would have been great. I also found the chemistry of jung hae in and han ji min more firing when compared with son ye jin's. But both were great shows overall, if you're to ask me. Its just that I loved one spring night more than something in the rain. When I was watching one spring night, I loved each moment, I just kept watching nonstop, I was so immersed to the extent where I almost lost track of time. I gave "one spring night" a full 10, and 9 for "something in the rain".
Just completed "the midnight romance in hagwon" episode 3, and wow!! Episode 3 made up for the previous episodes which only focused on education. I loved their firing chemistry. Episode 3 ended too soon, I wanted its duration to be at least 90 minutes, but it's only 71 minutes. Hye jin smile was so nice to see. At last, she's finally showing jun ho her warm side. I think, romance is most likely to bloom faster than anticipated.
Speaking of favourite actresses, I've some favourite actors and actresses, but I'm not a fan. They're my favorites because they possess impeccable acting skills. For Korean actors; Jung hae in, lee joon gi, lee do hyun, song joon ki, park seo joon, lee min ho, song il kook, yoo ah in, lee jae wook, kim soo hyun, roowon, and park hyun shik.
Korean actresses; Song hye kyo, son ye jin, park shin hye, lee bo young, seo hye ji, shin min ha, moon chae won, jung so min, choi ji woo, jeon yeo been, ha ji won, han ji min, ha hyo joo, kim hee ae, kim hee sun, shin hye sun, jung ryeo won, seo hyun jin, uhm jung hwa, jun ji hyun, and park min young.
Chinese actors; Leo wu, cheng yi, zhang lin he, Joseph Zheng, xu Kai, xiao zhan, zhang ruo yun, lin gengxin, and liu yuning.
Chinese actresses; Zhao liying, yang mi, bai lu, dilireba, liu tao, esther yu, jing tian, crystal liu, yuan bigyuan, liu shi shi, and li qin. For some, I've watched almost all their dramas, and for some, I've watched some of their dramas. You could say I've watched up to a hundred cdramas and kdramas over the years.
By the way pal, I'm now watching "twenty again", and its very interesting!! I'm particularly loving the bickering of ML and FL!!
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
But couldn't they have been more explicit about the ending? And did nan ya really deserved to be imprisoned? I don't think so. She deserved to be happy after all the sufferings she's endured.
The end of "remarriage and desires" left many unanswered questions. I wasn't satisfied with the ending, I already had an inkling that 8 episodes was not enough for such a plot. It ought to be at least a 12 episodes drama.
Dramas directed by Ahn Pan Seok are mostly slow burn romance. It's was only secret affair that had quick but satisfying romance among all his works. At least, out of the ones I've watched. Although I wished for romance to bloom quickly, but I was not too disappointed with the 2 episodes that aired previously. And why? Because it has a melodrama genre. And in most melodramas, slow burn romance are common.
I'm surprised you didn't like "one spring night". But it's one of my best dramas."One Spring Night" is a heartwarming Korean drama. The drama explores themes of love, loyalty, and societal expectations as the characters navigate through the complexities of their feelings and relationships. With its realistic portrayal of modern romance and strong character development, "One Spring Night" is a touching and relatable drama that resonates with viewers. Furthermore, I particularly loved how the equality of both genders in relationship was emphasized.
I dropped "moon in the day" as soon as I reached episode 4, I just couldn't continue further. And honestly, if pyo ye jin was not the FL, I might have dropped it as soon as I was a few minutes into episode 1. I agree, pyo ye jin is indeed very funny. I smiled and laughed while watching "our blooming youth".
