Yes, the white haired witch is too old fashioned, she thinks students from two decades ago are the same as millennials, but she's wrong for thinking that way. The students who were supposed to attend hye jin and jun ho's class who were tricked into attending her class complained about her class being super boring. Hye jin and jun ho are upright and kind, I believe they'll get back what they've lost sooner than later. Yes, slow burn story can be annoying sometimes. But you don't find them annoying when the plot is well executed.

Rattan is about interspecies romance. Si teng was betrayed and killed by the one she trusted, so, coincidentally, when qin fang was attacked, he fell to where si teng was buried with his car. And was stabbed by a metal rod, or was it something else? Anyway, as the rod was thrusted deep into his chest and as he was severely injured, he bled, as his blood touched where si teng was buried, she's revived. She then healed the wound of qin fang upon her revival. Qin fang was scared and tried to make a run for it, but he was drawed back by si teng rattan. That's how the journey of revenge and love started. That's just the summary, you'll like it a lot once you start watching. The chemistry of jing tian and vin zhang was super awesome and firing. And you won't have to complain about the episodes being too long, its a 30 episodes drama. I'll be adding "magical women" to my plan to watch list since you recommended it. In contrast, Fan Xian grew up on the outskirts and faced numerous assassination attempts upon arriving in the capital, with his sons being the main conspirators. So, I think emperor qing is not being fair uttering those words.
