I'm only finishing E12, officer Chen is the father of FL's former bff, their family took her in when her cowardly…
Yes, I also completed episode 12 after I dropped the comment. And you're right, he's an honest and upright police officer, but his daughter does not possess the traits of her father, not even a little! I've never hated a character as much as I hate chen ling and Nan Ya's stepmother. Nan Ya's stepmother deserves death, and a cruel one to be precise. Such an evil woman, she's a devil.
I've completed episode 20, but there's one thing I don't understand? Who actually killed xu yi?
Hu lifeng, his mother, xu yi, and all xu yi's family deserves to die a thousand death. Even if they're cut into a million pieces it won't be enough. I wish everyone that hurt her just drop dead. And what's with that that officer called chen? Why is he so hellbent on finding Nan ya guilty?
It's been a while since I last watch a drama this good. Just completed episode 2, and I can't believe I didn't notice this drama sooner. How can a drama be this good?
I agree, he had awesome chemistry with most actresses, especially the older ones. And even where he portrayed…
Mee too, I was so excited when the airing date was announced. And did you notice? It's on MDL trending lists already. That's itself is a great fit for a drama that hasn't aired yet.
At first, when I started watching marry my husband, I thought it was irrational and foolish to try and pair her best friend and her boyfriend together. I even said, she's suppose to make them suffer, not pair them together. But as I watched further, the story became more interesting, pairing them together was not a bad idea after all. She didn't have to do the dirty works herself cause they ended up destroying each other. They stole from each other, harmed each other, and in the end, park min hwan ended up dead. And she was killed by no other than jung soo min.
Furthermore, jung soo min was later convicted for murder, and her sentence was life imprisonment. So, it all turned out well if you asked. Fight stone with stone is what she went by. And it's her second life, so if she were to go all out for revenge, then it might not be as successful cause she wouldn't be able to justify it. So, to justify her revenge, she needs a proper reason and she can only get that by pairing them together. I also thought the third male lead character was unnecessary, and if you were to ask me. I'd say, he didn't contribute much to the drama.
Yes, even if we don't share the same viewpoints, discussing and pointing out flaws of a drama is always interesting.
Whenever there's an older woman/younger man drama, there are always complaints. And it doesn't matter what the plot is Whether it's forbidden love, secret affair, or whatever, there'll always be complaints. And honestly, I'm used to it by now.
The only complaint I have about alice is the ending. And hee sun might be joo won's mother before but not anymore, she doesn't even remember those memories. She's more like a reincarnation of the previous hee sun and honestly, I don't think falling in love with her is wrong. But then again that's just me saying what I feel, others might think differently.
You dropped marry my husband upon reaching episode 3? But it's an interesting show. And they had a great chemistry. But I agree with on what you said about na in woo, he indeed looks older than his age. When I first saw him in "river where the moon rise", I thought he was in his mid 30s. But I was surprised he's still in his 20s. And really, one would think he's older or the same age as park min young. But that aside, he's an awesome actor.
Yes, there are many dramas that deserved higher ratings on MDL.
Yeah you are right pal, MDL is indeed a great app for chatting and sharing ideas. Your recommendations are of great help to me, and as for those I haven't watch or have put on hold. I'll try them once I'm done with the ones I'm watching.
I also saw the good doctor among his previous dramas, but I didn't give much thoughts. But judging from your detailed summary, it seems the good doctor is quite promising to watch. 11 years? That means it's a 2013 drama, then I think it should be interestiing.
Alice is indeed quite underrated, and though the ending was somewhat disappointing, it still deserved something close to 8.4. I've tried many dramas that have ratings such as 8.4, 8.5, 8.7, and 8.8, but they're too disappointing. I dropped some halfway, and as for some, I couldn't make it pass episode 3.
Yes, I'm into some other genres aside from older woman/younger man. There's this cdrama I liked so much. It's historical and also political, "story of kunning palace" is my best political/historical cdrama of all time. And that's not all, the FL is older than the ML in real life.
Your recommendation lists were great, and I plan to watch the ones I'm yet to watch. I'll also give the thai and Japanese ones some consideration, and who knows? I might like them.
Why is this rated so low? It's a good drama. Maybe because people were expecting comedy like Knight Flower, but…
Beats me. It's a very interesting drama. I once comment about how it was unexpectedly good. The ratings is truly disappointing, it deserves more. I'm particularly loving the chemistry of ML and FL, plus all the palace schemes.
I feel 10 episodes is not enough for this drama. It ought to be 14 or 16 episodes drama, or am I the only one who feels this way? I just can't get enough of wcw and yjy. Their chemistry keeps exploding episode by episode!!
At first, I also was hesitant to watch it. But I chose to trust kim hee sun's acting and the awesome chemistry she has with every actor she's paired with. And that's not all, joo won is also a wonderful actor as he did a wonderful job in "bridal mask". Alice is indeed very underrated on MDL, it deserved more than 7.4.
And do you know what's most thrilling about the drama? What most thrilling about it is that, even though he has alexithymia, whenever he sees hee sun, he often cries. And yes, you are right, its all about time travel.
You should definitely try it, its both thrilling and interesting. Kim hee sun, joo won, and lee da in, those three awesome acting impressed me. There's also a love triangle between the three.
Yes, I saw most of the dramas you've completed, and most of them were noona dramas. Noona romance is also one of my most favorite genre, but I'm also into wuxia and xianxia. But of course, I prefer the ones which the ML is younger than the FL.
Most definitely, chatting here will be fun when jung ryeo won and wi ha joon's drama finally airs.
