Title Doctor Slump
Wow, this turned out to be unexpectedly good! I started watching three days ago, and I can't believe I'm already on episode 8. The chemistry between the main leads is awesome. I hope the ending is just as wonderful!!

I agree, he had awesome chemistry with most actresses, especially the older ones. And even where he portrayed…
Yes I agree, his picture should have been placed beside kim ha neul's, but it's okay since he got more screentime than yoo sang hyun. I also like it when the FL is older than the ML, and even if it doesn't have the tag of older woman/younger man, it doesn't matter.

Midnight romance in hagwon will be airing in less than a week's time. I've got really high expectations for this drama cause it's the only noona kdrama scheduled to air in May.
Can't wait to see the firing chemistry of jung ryeo won and wi ha joon!!

Secret love affair is indeed one of the best noona romance drama I've watched. And if it wasn't for the ending, I'd have given it a full 10. Kim hee ae and yoo ah's acting were wonderful in secret affair.

That's how most celebrities are, they often avoid unnecessary closeness, so they could avoid unnecessary scandals.

I'd like to recommend a noona romance drama, not sure if you've watched it.
"Sunshine by my side" it's a 2023 urban cdrama. I watched it during the time it aired. And I really loved it.
It's a 36 episode drama, I'm not sure if you'd want to watch because you said, you don't like long episode dramas.
By the way pal, did you watch she and her perfect husband already? How was it? Did you like it?

It's indeed an unrequited love, but speaking of care, yoo ah in's character cared for her. But the only thing was that, it was a care exhibited towards a friend and not the other way round.

Yes, kim hee ae's character lived a rich but suffocating life. She appears to be extremely tough in front of people, but the truth is she was tired of it all. She was exhausted from all the scheming, fake smiles, and playing the double agent, it was tiring. If not for yoo ah in, she'd have lost it. At first, she tried to convince herself that her feelings weren't real, but she couldn't deny it after all. So, she decided not to deny it, but face it. And I believe that's the best decision she made for herself.

He changed because of his career? Wow, that's one hell of a plot!!

I couldn't agree more. Lee do hyun and kim ha neul carried the drama. Honestly, no matter how interesting the plot might appear to be, I might never choose to watch it if yoon sang hyun had more screentime than lee do hyun. There's something about lee do hyun, aside from all his drama being very interesting. He's always paired with older actresses. Whenever you see him as the ML, the actress is definitely at least a year or two older than him.

Might be, but I'd have chosen LDH even if he was the SML. But speaking of chemistry, I have no doubt that this drama is going to be bustling with firing chemistry.

You are right the chemistry he has with noona actresses are firing. And whether it's a support or SML role, he nailed it all. So I trust he's going to nail it also here, and there's no need for me to comment about the FL cause are track records is by no means mediocre. She's an experienced actress, so I'm quite sure this drama is going to be a gem.

I'd say the chemistry lee do hyun had with kim ha neul was more firing compared to wi ha joon's. And honestly, the main reason why I watched 18 again was because of khn and ldh awesome chemistry.

Kim hee ae's character told yoo ah in's character not to wait for her, but yoo ah in waited regardless. The love they had for each other indeed transcends time and age. And that love didn't fade away even when they were apart.

Secret love affair is one of my most favorite noona romance drama, and if it weren't for the incarcerated end, I'd have given it a full 10. Those scenes were stunning!! The two first leads really nailed and killed their respective roles.
I've rewatched it thrice already, and I might just rewatch it soon cause their chemistry is something one can't forget.
I also remember the part when yoo ah in lived in kim hee ae's house for sometime, and his girlfriend or should I say his female friend? Anyway, she visited and while arguing she scratched yoo ah in's neck. So, when kim hee ae came back from work, she saw the bruise on his neck. And he said that's the way they argue, and he thought she misunderstood him, so he said nothing has ever happened between him and his girlfriend. And kim hee ae said, "I didn't ask that question". He was quick to clear any misunderstanding she had, wow! It's obvious he loved her first.

I think I have a bit of an inkling how park si woo was. He would think he's above the world, handsome, and all that. But the truth is, deep inside, there's something missing.

I gave secret love affair a 9 because the story was well polished. I also loved the music aspect of it, especially when yoo ah in's character played the piano with kim hee ae's character, the chemistry was burning 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The only reason why I withheld the 1 was because she went to jail in the end.
And though yoo ah in promised to wait for her, she didn't get out till the drama ended, that's my only complaint.

I agree, it could have been way better, but it's not all bad as it had the romance, although it's a slight one. But I'd say it's better than nothing.

No matter how iron made park si woo might appear, he'll later soften. Love will eventually soften the guy cause love is the 'achilles heel' of most people.

I get what you mean. He has this chemistry with all the actresses he's work with, it's a chemistry that one couldn't overlook. But now he's the ML. So, ending up with the FL is certain.

There is no comedy here just little It gave more of melodrama vibes in QOT and I think it all depends on the script…
Yes, kdramas and cdramas are my favorites.

He also has an upcoming drama, but the airing date is still unknown.

He always plays weak male characters who are huge crybabies
You are right. I've watched more than 4 of his dramas already, and he cried in all of them. He sure knows how to portrayed being a crybaby really well.

Then I guess I must complete episode 13 asap, so I can proceed to episode 14.

I started watching kdramas in 2012 and looking back, it's been 11 years already.

Me too, the guy can really act, plus he's also very handsome.
You should really try more of his dramas, here are some lists of his dramas that I've watched; Boys over flower, the heirs, city hunter, the legend of the blue sea, and the king eternal monarch. Among all these recommendations, "city hunter and the king eternal monarch" were my favorites!!

Wow, what a coincidence! Boys over flower was also one of my first dramas. Was it 12 or 11 years ago when I watched it? LMH and KSH are among my favorite actors.

Yes, his acting is top tier. I watched "my love from the star" ten years ago, and it also happened to be my first time of watching his drama. And wow, his acting caught my eye!

Yes, I agree. This drama ought to have a melodrama tag. KSH crying scenes are always heartbreaking, he always have the right facial expressions for every scene.

Why does kim soo hyun cry in most of his dramas?
METS, MLFTS, IOTNBO, he cried in all those dramas. And he's doing the same thing in queen of tears.
I've noticed that most of KSH roles are emotional, even when the drama has a comedy genre.
