10 years is not huge, especially as it's 30s and 40s
Age gap is always an issue whenever a noona romance drama is scheduled to air. Sometimes you'd see people complaining about the huge age gap, and some might just be against older woman/younger man drama. But why the prejudice? An older man can have a younger female partner, but a woman can't?
I didn't know eun min in real life is the same age as nam joo cause she looked a bit old compared to nam joo. But then again, I thought it was the make up. I guess I was wrong. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean anything, and neither does it make romance forbidden in this drama. It's a pity the screenwriter is not seeing that. I'll retain the 9.5 if she gets a divorce today, but I'll low the ratings if she stayed an indecisive woman till the end. And I'll give this drama the highest ratings possible "10" should we witness a miracle romance!
Only a miracle can make romance bloom between the first leads. But it's good to see them trusting and confiding in each other, that's a great development. And I have no doubt they'd make a formidable team together. Seol hyun is a very smart man, and he knows when to make his moves. The revenge he planned against soo hyun is the perfect example.
When seol hyun knew how gun woo died, he regretted the fact that he plotted revenge against soo hyun. He saw how miserable soo hyun is, and she's that miserable because of kim joon and his father. So, the only thing he wants is to put an end to kim joon's evil ways!!
I'm guessing episode 13 ended with many unanswered questions and suspense, or am I wrong? And that's the puzzling question I'd also like to know, "who gave seol hyun the heart transplant"? Soo ho is definitely not thinking straight, he's lost it. I think he has been a director for far too long, and has already forgotten that "before he's a director, he was a father".

Soo ho is by no means using his head, did he think all would be resolved just because he gave kim joon the tablet? And he actually kept his wife in check because kim joon said so? I can't believe the audacity, shamelessness, and stupidity of this man. I can't believe he actually gave away the chance of his son getting the justice he rightfully deserves. Does he still consider himself gunwoo's parent? I don't think so. His actions doesn't replicate that of a journalist at all. I mean, he's been a journalist for years, and despite that, he still did such a thing?
It's good to hear that the relationship of soo hyun and seol hyun is getting deeper. I'd love to see our first leads conquer it all. And the scene I most certainly want to watch right now is the strangling part. I'd love to see kim joon suffering. I mean, he was always the one who did the hurting, but now he's having a taste of his own medicine.

Yes, the impossible heir and wedding impossible ratings dropped a lot compared to how they started. Sometimes, MDL users can be really unreasonable! Eun min is older than soo hyun in this drama. And so what if they are the same age? Love is not about age or status difference, it's all about who makes your heart flutter. And only people who thinks reversely would fault the romance of two adults, just because the woman is in the same age range as the man's mother. I'd give 1000/10 ratings, peradventure this drama have a miracle romance!!
Indeed, you waited for far too long to watch this drama, and it's as you said, "the wait was worth it"!! Mee too, I also loved noona romance dramas, especially the ones with big age gaps. Before the airng of this drama, there were many arguments regarding the romance issue. So, if romance miraculously blossoms between the first two leads, then it's definitely going to be hell here on MDL. The miracle romance will certainly make this drama a lot more popular, and we might just see something close to "980" in the popularity rankings. But as for the ratings, I'm sure it's going to drop cause there are too many haters who are against the idea of romance. And more hell is going to break loose should the first leads have a kissing scene, it'd definitely cause many arguments and bashings.

I thought she used to tell her students that "one should at least protect his dignity", or has that changed? And yes, yoo ri is regretful. But it doesn't change the fact that she deceived her sister. Soo ho on the other hand has too many sins to atone for. First it was his infedility, and now it's his selfishness.
Seol hyun is indeed, really going to be in a lot of danger, cause he knows too much about kim joon. And kim joon is by no means who you'd call "kindhearted". He's ruthless, and cold-blooded. And I'll bet he won't be going down without a fight.
The last episode's duration should at least be up to 90 minutes, so they'd be able to wrap things up wonderfully. By the way pal, have you watched episode 13? I'm asking because I haven't watched it yet.

I also noticed that soo hyun wished the neighbor to be the mistress, instead of her sister "yoo ri". But why? So, she would have forgiven him as long as the mistress is not her sister? What a shallow way of thinking!! An affair is but an affair, so whether the mistress is her sister, her neighbor, or anyone, that doesn't change the fact that her husband is an unfaithful man!! The trust has been broken, and a marriage without trust can't be considered a real marriage..

Soo ho shouldn't have backed down no matter what. I mean, soo hyun lost her freedom because she sought justice for her son. But what did her husband did? He backed down because of a threat? I just can't believe him!! Soo hyun mother's brain couldn't take everything that's been happening to her, hence the dementia. I feel bad for soo hyun, her son's case is a whole lot of work as it is, now she has to deal with her mother's memory loss.

Yes, 8.2 makes me wonder. I mean, I opened the profile of some users watching wonderful world, and I saw their ratings, and surprisedly their ratings are 10. So, it makes me wonder why the ratings is still 8.2. But then again, it's as you said, MDL ratings sometimes are not to be trusted. And you are right, many kdramas began with high ratings but later ended with low ratings, and doctor slump is a good example!!
When I started watching this drama, the first episode brought me in, the first two episodes is interesting, and heartbreaking. Seon yul previously worked for kim joon, he clears the path for kim joon, and because of that, kim joon gave him confidential tasks. But seon yul already knew kim joon had a hand in his mother's accident, but he still chose to work for him. So I ask myself "why"? And I noticed as he worked for him he makes a copy of all the crooked deeds of kim joon, making it easy for him to take kim joon down whenever he wants to. And now that's it's confirmed that he was the one who orchestrated the accident of his mother, he'll now be wielding that hidden sword he's kept hidden for so long against him!!
I couldn't believe soo ho backed down because of the images kim joon showed him!! So, what could be in the images that made him dropped his sword? Or did he choose not to pursue the case any further because of his ambition? There are so many unanswered questions, that makes me feel 14 episodes are not enough for this drama to end wonderfully... It was indeed too much for her, a successful, educated, and famous writer had her whole world crumbling down in a day. It's definitely something one would never think of.
And you are right, soo ho rose from being an anchorman all the way to a director in a broadcasting company due to kim joon's help and connections. And honestly, till now I don't know why he chose to work with a killer. And the one that got him that position is not just any murderer, but the murderer of his son!! So, why?
