Soo much potential but a total car wreck...

Man, where do I begin...

A man who inherits a family tradition, that grants him superhero abilities by carrying money. I thought the premise of the story was really interesting and could've made this superhero genre that's already losing popularity and is at its tail end actual life. However, that's not the case. The story had very high ambitions but the writers and director did a poor job executing it. It felt like it was trying to fit in every superhero subplot you could think of but failed to follow through and at the end didn't know what it wanted to be. Also the villains seem one dimensional and there's no backstory on why they're evil, they're just evil. The protagonist and supporting cast seem stale and there's no depth to them. There's also so many questions I have then answers. If he saved the bus and everyone saw his face on footage, how come no one recognizes him at work, his mom or in general?! How is there no paparazzi or media following him around??? Why is it that in some cases when he does use physical activity that he doesn't lose money but in other cases he does? How is it the Mundane Vanguard is four steps ahead but at the same time the most incompetent company to shut down the Super Human Korean Society??? There were soo many moments Kang and his allies could've lost their life but plot armor saved him. This whole show fell apart story wise and felt like an ambitious car wreck. Like I said if the story had been properly written, directed, paced out and had actual high stakes with Kang and his powers, the series could've been another major hit for Netflix like "Squid Game" but sadly not. If you want a really good Korean superhero show, avoid this one and go watch "Moving". It actually has depth and is greatly executed.
