Can anyone tell me if this is worth a watch? I really love Park Minyoung as an actress, but Idk if I can deal…
I didn't expect much cause I didn't like most of her latest projects but this one is the one I"'m most looking forward to now. As for now, we may have a love triangle but it's not decided yet.
I haven't read the webtoon but I think NIW is doing really well here. He doesn't say much but I can sense that he has feelings for the FL and judging from behaviour and his face expressions there is some kind of a sad backstory to him.
I don't get why people are confused. there were so many clues. I knew he was Kiho from the beginning.
I don't know, I watched so many dramas that the glases and other stuff you've mentioned didn't confuse me. Ki-ho wasn't as outgoing as Woo Hak. The character doesn't match. And I can't see the chemistry between Mok Ha and Woo Hak. He definitely has feelings for her, but there wasn't even one scene that hinted she has feelings for him. For me, they are more like siblings.
Idk if it’s just me, but I feel the ml is not acting his best… the last scene and the scene he saw moka in…
I feel the same. More emotion would help. Unfortunately, his face doesn't show much of it. Only the crack in his voice when he thanked her for staying alive saved the scene. Most scenes with him make me feel underwhelmed, like when he found her in that noodle shop - there was no relief in his face; he just sat there matter-of-factly. He needs to watch "My Dearest" and learn from Namkoong Min ;) On the other hand, the child actor was great in this regard. I could feel his despair and sadness. His teary eyes made me feel sadness with him.
One more thing, when the father delivered flowers, how he didn't recognize his son? It is still weird for me
Well, it's also weird that Mok Ha didn't recognize him. In real life, people don't change to the point that you can't recognize them after 15 years. But it's just a drama so we must take that as it is;)
I started watching My Dearest only because of Ahn Eun Jin and didn't have many expectations. I saw her in two dramas and I really liked her acting and the fact that she usualy plays strong, intersting characters. I've never seen anything of Namkoong Min. I must say that at first I wasn't sure about him, he seemed overacting and being to theatrical. However, I ended up loving him and his acting. His acting in the bloody scene at the beach made me cry. He portayed the character's emotions so well. I could feel his despair and resignation cause by convistion that he would die there. What a great actor. Gil Chae is the character that has the best development I've ever seen. Ahn Eun Jin should get an award - her crying scenes were so convincing every time. Both leads should get an award for their performances. Definitely MY FAVOURITE DRAMA OF 2023:) I already miss it...
