I'm going to assume so. There's hints that his family stuff will mash with XL and also that he's trying to change…
Think it’s going down the route that his Dads’s new girlfriend is Xioalan’s evil cousin with plastic surgery. I’d be shocked if that isn’t what happens 😂.
I’m only on ep 20 but why does the silver head guy dislike his son and would rather kill him?
I already know some spoilers from the book but if he wants the throne wouldn’t he need heirs or is he so crazy he see everyone as competition for the throne?
he was considerably a bad guy in source material that's why people said these things..things haven't gone to final…
I read the novel and he wasn’t a “considerably bad guy”.
He had issues with feeling out of place and fell in love with FL without realising who she was. He kept his feelings hidden but still did things that was inappropriate such as painting her etc. Added on he was resisting his paternal side because he wanted to stay with his grandmother.
The issue was he had to find out for himself who he was without his cousin’s stature and reputation hanging over him.
To have an illegitimate son who has dropped out of high school or university lead a big company?
Thats even worse than I’ll do being the president as he’s being helped by Yeum Jang Seon as he’s easy to manipulate.
It would have been easier to have as a son in law and let him have some shares so he can help the son. But then this series would be short and lacking in drama!
the female lead(short hair) moves there and meets them at the beginning of the show. the male lead already had…
I didn’t see your comment before you deleted but you didn’t make a mistake in saying the FL was childhood friend with the boys. She grew up with them for a bit (until she was a toddler?) before she left with her parents.
she's not their childhood friend, she met both boys when she became their neighbor at 16. the long hair girl knew…
No they are childhood friends. In earlier episodes it is explained that she was raised there with the boys until she left with her parents when she was a toddler. Then she came back.
They even said the uncles used to carry her when she was little and she didn’t remember.

This would be exciting! It’s rarely done!
You can have the same vibe as someone without looking like them.
I think the uncertainty is similar in vibe with Han so Hee in Nevertheless.

Has there been a drama that does this and subverts expectations?
