Thanks for posting an anti-cyberbullying article. Thanks for Lee Na Eun for staying alive despite The K-netz Killer Klown Machine. Now lo_ve, please. It's high time to publish corrective articles about Kim Soo Hyun who has been defamed relentlessly by MDL staff writers, inviting every troll and moron with mental health problems to post death wishes and disgusting malicious comments. Illegalities have taken place here and it's high time MDL cleans up its attitude. The gossip articles simply must stop. Staff writers must be replaced by ones who are not gossip hungry and actually love actors and dramas. Fans of Kim Soo Hyun are a strong global force who will not let illegalities and unfairness go unnoticed but will continue to demand justice from the media.

They should be grateful for the ability to discuss with people from all over world. Odd and funny to be on an Asian drama site and demanding the use of correct English. They'd have to be grateful for the the fact that Korean and Chinese dramas even have English subtitles.

For the language police I'd say check out Chinese drama names. "Let Wind Goes By" is just one example that is not grammatically correct. But it's a great gift to be able to have English translation for a wonderful drama.

Pls do not expect the staff writers, lo_ve or Lily_Alice to publish anything corrective. We have been calling out their gossip hunger and celebrity slandering articles for years. Unfortunately people don't change. We'd have to get a lot of votes behind the suggestion to remove the staff writers altogether and I don't think that could be achieved.

But now we have a lot of actual verified and updated information in this page. It's actually become very useful for following the progression of justice.

Luckily the trolls have become a minority. It's clear they have mental health problems, which just happen to be on full display here instead of some other site.

thanks for the explanation! Eun Hyun Jang is a hero, no doubt about it. Gaseosa's "defamation over defamation" lawsuits are ridiculous to the max. If he doesn't land in jail there's no justice in this world. But I think I read somewhere that the parliament is already processing the Gaseosa prevention petition.

Language policing is *unpolite* in a platform that has users from all over the world and where most users are not native English speakers. We got the meaning of the comment.

Maybe we'll never know how deep is the rivalry but one thing is clear: there is no "We're all in this together" thinking in the k-drama industry. Otherwise the companies would take a united stand to protect their productions and actors from cyberwreckers and scandal media. When they can sink and tarnish dramas with scandals, eventually the financial and reputational losses will come to hurt the entire industry. And hence bite them back. Karma is a bitch. Ok Taecyeon's new drama is very good, imo, but all that the news sites talk about is how the crew damaged a historical building. Nothing is easier than connecting a drama with one specific negative piece of news and then that's it. Lee Bang Won, King of Tears = Dead horse. First Night With The Duke = Nails hammered in a historical building. Everyone knows very well that negative news attract more attention than positive news.

It breaks my heart to think there are such mothers who don't get her child into proper care (mental health institution) after the suicide attempts. This is just speculation, but in professional care they would have let her just rest and talk and get a new perspective. Instead she was tasked with keeping the money coming in one way or another. And I can imagine how painful it must have been for the manager, who did not have the means to help her, not being the guardian, to watch her unravel completely.

I completely agree with you on all points. I don't want to say this, but KSR doesn't come across as a person who can be truly honest. She has small flashes of clarity about her past actions but as you say, those are immediately surpassed by the desire for drama and wanting to play victim. Same thing as the message to friends denying that her blood alcohol level was high enough for a DUI verdict. This letter, combined with the list of rules KSR made together with her new husband about their relationship - also released to the public - we have a very clear picture of KSR. The husband added the rule "no playing a victim". Also "no drinking". I also think either KSR was in a too bad state to understand that Gold Medalist wasn't asking her to pay back the debt, or the letter from GM was just a trigger to try and reach out to KSH who clearly didn't want any more drama. Maybe people around KSR found her confused state too much, in the sense that they got tired of explaining the issue with Gold Medalist (=debt forgiven).

One thing that people never talk about is that people can't be owned. Even if you date someone, the depth of feelings may not be such that lead to marriage. May not mutually be at that level. The other party might start to harbor doubts and that eventually leads to breakup. "Trial dating" and "light dating" is as normal as it gets.

Even if a person is married to someone, she or he doesn't own that person. It is not that KSH owes anything at all to KSR because they dated in the past. And vice versa. It's Joeseon era thinking that if there's been a fulfillment of the relationship, the parties have somehow permanetly put an ownership stamp on each other. The KSR family tries to enforce this Joseon era thinking - with great success unfortunately.

Someone who dates many people before marriage is wise, imo, not a predator. Better to be safe than sorry. Fall in love but keep your feet on the ground. Much of dating consists of roleplay. Eventually those roles are confirmed to be real, or not.

I didn't know that about Park Hae Jin. I knew he had some troubles and mistreatment. These cases "never forgive, never forget even if there were no actual wrongdoings" are immensely unfair. There are many roles by Park Hae Jin that are absolutely unforgettable (e.g., Bad Guys). It seems that the media was determined to sink The Killing Vote which actually was one of the most interesting dramas as it displayed how people can be manipulated to condemn someone to death just based on sensational media manipulation and superficial information. That drama could have delved even deeper into the issue of audience manipulation, but it's very relevant now as we observe audience reactions to KSH case. PHJ has taken even small roles and maintained his career that way. Song Seung Heon was accused of the same thing, wrongly accused bc he was released from the military bc health problems. His career has been facing obstacles all the way bc of the accusations.

I forgot to say that what makes KSH stand out as an actor is that we can always feel his feelings. Very few actors achieve this level. It's magic when it happens.
