It depends on preferences and mood actually , the story is very character driven and shows more emotional and personal development of the characters and I think that is why it is kinda slow for some people, but it is normal , you don't have to like all kdramas, I hope you find one you enjoy

Let us normalize the fact that not liking a drama doesn't equals that it is bad , it just means your preference is different and it is not bad to accept that
