Decided to rewatch and I just realize how brilliant the and consistent seokryu and seunghyo' characters were written
When Seunghyo lost his chance of swimming , he was in pain and depressed , his coping mechanism was to hide himself and lick his wounds, back then he pushed Seokryu away from him every single time, he was trying to shut her out
But our queen didn't give up on him and consistently broke down his barriers
It is exactly what happened in Ep 6 , Seunghyo being rude and pushing Seokryu away is so Choi Seunghyo
He is hurting alot and I think he is also scared , the fact that the more he pushes her away , she does things that reminds him of why he loves her like giving him her first food she made in the cooking class. To him his feelings is like an allergy ,only comes when Seokryu is around, To think he actually thought he had moved on until she came back(lying to himself)
For some reason I feel bad for him. His emotions are getting the better of him and it is making him fidgety and uncomfortable around Seokryu.

I just know their first kiss scene will break the internet

I think it is also making up for it with international success

She doesn't understand why he is doing it though, she is also curious , she thinks she hasn't done anything to warrant such reaction from him

If you put yourself in his shoes you will get to understand him, he is kinda walking on eggshells now regarding Seokryu, He is freaking out and he doesn't know how to deal with his feeling about Seokryu
Seokryu showing up infront of him is making it harder for him, that is why he lashes out on her even though he knows it is not her fault

Oh Yess , and that is frustrating my poor boy, he seems to be losing control over his feelings and the fact that seokryu keeps coming back is giving him stress🤭

I feel sorry for him tho , it seems his feelings are really giving him a hard time and Bae Seokryu is not making it easy for him.
His mind is basically all about her !!, He needs to confess so than he can at least release the emotions burden but the fear of losing Seokryu overrides that I think

I wanted to say this so bad , the fact that even though he is being rude , she is still coming to him , the last scene when he told her to leave him alone and she said no ..

Everyone is going to know he cheated now, her mom is about to go to jail for murder but it seems Seunghyo will be holding himself off in the mean time

That is what is making him stressed , she is being too good to him which is making it hard for him to get rid of his feelings for her and making him fall harder

There was difference in the makeup and costume as well

It is not really , he has to come so that she can finally resolve everything about him and also for her family to finally learn what happened to her

And I love that , I cant stand when characters are portrayed as perfect , I feel kdrama fans take part in these things , when they criticize imperfect characters and judge them instead of understanding the characters POV

Makes me question if they really watched it or not?

I think most viewers of Love Next door are just here for the romance and the dating phase so they skip through everything else ,
But the beauty of the drama comes with every character and the story that comes with them
The writer is a genius and how she want to portray some kind of message with every episode is chef kiss

Exactly my thought ,finally someone else said it , it is like a journey with the characters rather than the story
Every character is going to some phases and we are about to see development in everyone of them
I like how all the characters has specific but different flaws , so realistic 😌

they gave so many hints , I cant believe some people didn't see them
