It is a thrilling ride so far, except I am getting the odd feeling 16 episodes will be too long, but you never know with some screenwriter especially first-time screenwriters I think.
K-Dramas surprise me now and then. Find Me in Your Memory is a sweet drama that surprises me through 6 episodes. At this moment, I am loving this drama.
Back in 2016, I was looking for a drama to watch once I finished Six Flying Dragons. My Dry Cleaning lady, who is South Korean who recommends dramas to me, recommended Descendants of the Sun. I was hooked from episode 2 and beyond. In the last four years, I have watched this twice. I never regretted watching it. My rating is 8.89/10. This drama is not for everyone, but everyone has the potential to enjoy this drama. My Dry Cleaning lady and I had lively debates about this drama, and we continue to talk about older shows we have watched and recent dramas we have seen.
It is in my top five list for K-Dramas, and that is saying something. I enjoyed each episode that felt like a mini film to me. I watched this for the second time this past week. It may be cliche, and the storyline is overused, but the screenwriter does enough to wash away my thoughts about that. The screenwriter Park Ji Eun wrote one of my favorite dramas, "You Who Came From Stars," which prompted me to watch this drama last year to the beginning of this year. I hardly rate dramas a near-perfect but it is a 9.45 in my book. Every one has different taste in dramas.
This was the first ever, I mean EVER kdrama I had watched and it's been five years. Now I've watched so much that…
Same here in regards to creating an account. I have been adding shows and movies I have watched the last couple of weeks that I saved on my Excel spreadsheet. It is a lot I realized since I am indoor now or for the time being. I do not have the mileage like some drama lovers, but I enjoy everything I finish.
In my opinion, you might like Tunnel (2017) and Voice (2017) very good dramas in their own right. Love Me if You Dare (2015) very a good part. Here are dramas that are not very similar, but are categorized as Thriller, Wrongfully Accused, Police Genre: Defendant (2017), Cruel City (2013), and Two Weeks (2013)
Nvm, its garbage. Watch only if you have nothing else to watch.
Narco, I wouldn't agree that it is garbage, but the screenwriting was a let down for me in this drama. I am not a harsh grader, which I would rate this a 7.67, but the acting for me bumped it up to a very average show. In my opinion, they had such good actors wasted what could have been a terrific drama. There are few dramas I drop, but it is an OCN dramas, which normally deliver except for me they half-delivered last year. It did have hints of used themes and ideas from past OCN dramas, which I have mentioned previously.
We are missing a good film by him Ai ni tsuite, Tokyo (1992). Synopsis: In order to support himself while living in Japan, the Chinese student Ho Jun works in a slaughterhouse in Tokyo, lives with lots of other poor Chinese students in cheap rooms, and suffers the constantly arrogant and discriminating behavior of the Japanese against himself and other non-Japanese. Ho Jun and his buddies have no qualms about robbing a pachinko parlor, but when the gangster who owns it threatens to have him deported, he is forced to sit down with the man and attempt to come to some sort of arrangement.
I am surprised less than 1,000 mydramalist users have watched this gem. Maybe they have, but no one should miss this Grandiose Drama because the setting and backdrop are the Korean War. It is rating worth 8.75. One of the best Korean War Films/Dramas that depicts the period. I am a tough grader on dramas and hit the mark for me. In the past, ten years I watched this four times. Trust me.
The american show criminal minds.....all the ladies on it who kick ass all wear thise wedge heels too....The profilers…
I haven't watched Criminal Minds or NCIS in 8 years. It is too familiar in all shows around the globe. I give up I do not care anymore regarding insignificant details that seem to bug me as long as the lead actress character is strong-willed and makes smart decisions. In this case, she is all that as of now.
How is this compared to Stranger? Please, no spoilers
Two different dramas, but a little similar, in my opinion. In my opinion, Stranger is in a league all by itself. The acting in WATCHER is incredible, like Stranger, especially the characters and pieces of music used for each episode to temper the mood. If you like a good suspense drama, it is good one to watch. The plot is more realistic and gritty than most OCN crime dramas. If you liked Stranger you will enjoy this. Now, I enjoyed it so you might. Hopefully, I did not spoil it for you.

FUN FACT, she only wears heels when she is full body on camera, and off camera she puts on comfortable shoes.…
Yeah, I agree about your later point about "Strong and Determined." I wish it didn't put so much emphasis on her looks or fashion in this drama, but I understand a little because of her character. I am looking forward to the coming episodes though.
The hockey scenes in this drama are kind of cringey. I grew up watching hockey and never would have imagined China…
I agree with you about the hockey scenes. When I watched the Japanese drama Pride (2004) back in 2004, and again last year, it had those moments of an embarrassment of really that is how you choreograph hockey plays in a drama. I guess dramas are called dramas for a reason.
Decent drama. I have given up on dramas being true to novels long ago. I have not read the novel, so I cannot give my thoughts on this drama regarding accuracy. The Chinese will be adapting a lot of books, stories, and webtoons in the coming years. Let us hope the screenwriters can mediate between the book lovers and the general audience. It is not easy today. In the past, on the one hand, they got it right with some of their dramas, but on the other hand, they made poor choices. It is just my thought
I 10000000% agree . It's almost disgusting honestly..why did they purposely cast a young girl with a much older…
@Vincent Belli I completely under your point. The Golden Age of Hollywood did this a lot regarding age gap pairing young actresses with older actors. It happens even today everywhere. If you watch Mr. Sunshine (2018), Lee Byung Hun could pass off as the lead actress father (20 years). The K-drama on Netflix Hyena the lead actress Kim Hye Soo is twelve years older than her male lead. It does not bother me. To answer your question regarding why I do not know why but every Movie Industry does it Bollywood, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc........
So far, it is not something I would drop or bore me to death. The only complaint I have in these types of dramas, but not always. Why do the Female Lead Actresses wear heels or wedge boots in scenes they shouldn't wear those type of shoes? It does not happen every time, but I catch it now and then. In the scenes, the director should make them wear comfortable shoes. Maybe it is her character itself, but I do not think so. Everybody probably hears, that a lot, but it gets annoying to me, at least. It is good so far.
