Is this related to the Webtoon? If I remember the Webtoon correctly, it wasn’t about three different world

I’m not pissed and I like people expressing their opinions. The issue is that you don’t like the relationship dynamic in this drama and you tired to find “a non existent fault” which you’re ok with btw when it’s a genre you prefer. So a double standard and unfair to the drama.

90% of kdramas are exactly the opposite of this drama. The only time they do it the other way around is when you start complaining.

Omg you know exactly what I’m talking about…. Don’t forget how some of the ml freeze when the fml talk to them like they rather go to the battlefield than interact with them. I get that they are saying they got no experience in a relationship but the way they react doesn’t match their life experience? Like you telling someone who goes to battlefield and kills without blinking is about to pass out and gets all shy when talking to a lady? Give me a break. The relationship between the leads in this drama was mature and close to realistic at least in my opinion. Unfortunately, I have not seen a drama close to this but since I see you a lot on this site I will throw it at your way if I find one😂

Well… I’m not surprised because I never rely on the summary in Cdrams. They either spoil everything or tell a different story than the drama

Ling buyi was one of the better ones and closest but he is still behind. I don’t want to mention any dramas (believe there is too many) since I don’t want to get flamed now but they should at least try to take notes on how to write a good “general character” that is believable 🥲

I first noticed her when she was in Untamed and I liked her and wished she got a lead role. I’ve seen some of her dramas after and her acting feels little different?! There is something about it that I can’t put my finger on but I watched Blossom and I enjoyed it so I wish her luck with this one!

So it’s the same director? No wonder.. I dropped Ashes to crown early on because everything was moving too fast and most characters including the ml were just an empty shell. This drama, as of ep 6, is heading the same direction.

I watched this drama when it was released, and I still haven’t seen a better ML. His character was very well crafted, and he felt like a real general. This has ruined my standard, tbh, and I can’t watch another “general ml” if they don’t live up to this standard😭I’ve seen a lot of general characters in a lot of dramas, and their characters are just not well made, and the way they act is not consistent with the experience they’re supposed to have lived. This is why I’m still stuck here like a ghost.🥲

Ikr I hate “hidden identity” tropes🥲. It would have been better if they followed the novel and made it just as dramatic and gave fml a redemption arc since she is really evil. If I make a prediction: they will revolve the whole drama about the “substitute” part and ml will find it out in 20 episodes😭

Yeah…it also hurts when you see that the professor is a woman. It’s bad regardless of who does it but she should’ve known what it feels like to be in her position.

Anyone else thought of the Cornell 7 when the professor tried to sweep the SA under the rug? This must be common everywhere.

I mean if they want something that’s 100% politically accurate, they are in the wrong place. They should go watch a documentary. But again, they are Korean netizens and their job is to find a flaw in everything. No body should be taking them seriously.

I can’t count how many times i went back to watch this drama because it’s one of my first Chinese dramas I’ve watched. I would guess that most people who would watch a drama this old are probably older fans like us and now they ruined it for us. It’s so ridiculous to waste so much resources for this crap. Someone in the comments mentioned how they could’ve used it for shelved dramas that casted actors who were involved in legal disputes. They should have done this instead ruining our favorite dramas 🙄

That would be a good use of AI. It is not fair to the drama crew when the drama they put all their efforts into gets shelved. It’s ridiculous if they use it on a drama that already aired though like this one.
