Yeah nothing makes sense so far. He is being obsessive and it’s off-putting. It would be a waste if he keeps acting that way the whole drama. It’s reminds of Glory a little bit but we will see where they go with this.

Mephisto is unarguably the most miserable person on MDL. There is no question about it. They’re racist and a horrible person. It’s wrong to cast a minor in a romantic role though.

To use other people’s pain as a source of entertainment is just a horrible thing to do. I feel bad for Travellerr0 and others who had to be reminded of such a tragedy even when they try find little peace. It’s them that need to get a life not you or others who spoke about it.

I skipped every single moment the second couple were on screen. The parents were too much involved in their relationship. Like Is she going to date him or his parents?? . Also I just finished the drama and, as you predicted, they prematurely wrapped it up. Main couple got together the last 4 episodes and it ended with ml proposing to her. It seemed like they were tired and just wanted the whole drama to be over and just gave the audience what they wanted. My favorite couple were Lu Ze and JingJing. Their relationship was wholesome and very sweet. The problem is that they didn’t get any screen time after they got together. There were a lot of positive things about this drama but the director found a way to backtrack and ruin those positive things.

I liked this drama but I was disappointed that they were only together for five episodes and it’s already over. We needed more episodes of them being together.

And here I am checking the rating to decide if I want to watch this. Looks like MDL ratings is becoming unreliable.

This person is famous on MDL for being rude and hostile so don’t mind it. Their name says it all.

You will see some little similarities for the first few episodes. After that, there is a lot of changes that it seems a different story. At least that is what I thought when watched both. I personally liked the Taiwanese version though. Tell me what you think if you make it through:)

The Taiwanese version is a bit darker and the characters are more mature especially the ML. His character was more developed and there was an explanation of why he was acting the way he did and the reasons behind his decisions. But it looks little older though since it’s from 2018. If you want something lighter, definitely watch this remake. But if you want something more developed in terms of character and story wise compared to this, go with the Taiwanese version:)

This Webtoon is inspired by medieval Europe and it never claimed to be a recreation of it. This is called inspiration and it’s huge part of storytelling. Since this is a fictional story, the author doesn’t have to tell you why he placed certain characters in a specific setting. If I made an Italian inspired pasta, you are not going to assume I’m gonna use every ingredient thats used in Italy. Inspiration in how creativity came into being. Nobody creates something from nothing and every creative work was inspired by something. There is no rule that says your inspired work have to be similar to the source material. This type of argument only comes up when race is involved.

Strong fml lead dramas in a nutshell. I do like them when they do it right (and believe me there is many) but when they reduce important characters to a prop to elevate others, it just pisses me off like we don’t even want them to be extraordinary. Just make them equal or something…

I love political dramas but I just hope they don’t make the ml dumb just to make the fml look smart😭

I didn’t see this live action yet but I’ve seen the donghua and it’s one of the things I still don’t understand about Han Li. In the donghua, he says that it will harder for him to leave later if he meets them again during his sister’s wedding but the reason he is leaving or cultivating in the first place is never stated. It’s one of the unlikable parts of the story for me
