I don't mind having the details later in the story. There is no transition concerning years forwards compared to the years displayed on the screen in the previous episodes. Bouncing from one year to another without warning is quite harsh and the memory of incidents might be troublesome (for (at least me although I have a good memory).

The editing of the 10th episode was too abrupt.

Elvira Cai's acting is zombie like when she delivers bad news.
The other members of the cast are doing a good job.
It took me months to watch it Too much to and fro romantic crisis.

The AI is "casting" both genre of welknowned actors.

My brain activated my fingers and selected this Cdrama by mistake.
Had a pick at the first 10 minutes or so of that story and had a shock...couldn't stop watching.
Hope viewers will activate the spoiler tag because it will be a roller coaster.

I keep up watching it...I'm stubborn.
The dead corpses are too much to stomach...but I'm still sitted and watching an episode at a time for the last months.
Won't watch 2nd season although this part is well acted, directed with good cinematography.

Your first paragraph. I am aware that exorcism didn't exist in Western states. African and Latino exorcism/vodooism were demonized by the Western Church for monetary, colonialism, ethnic-cleansing reasons. Although it is still used in Soudan for example for the reasons you must be aware of. What has to be kept in mind is that vodooism in their origin countries were used by native healers/mediums and not considered as evil. There are chants and dances immortalising this type of healing/trances. Nowadays black magic is used in a couple of Western countries. I won't walk on this path as it is a delicate subject.

BTW: I am on the 5th episode of this drama. I love that he is so pragmatic for now. It's a self-preservation emotion as he seems to have a painful history. At the 4th episode she is already showing her sense of protection towards him...like a big sister.
