I also knew that yuechu helped Fugui so they have replaced one cousin role with another. I like this Rumu character but I feel it would have been nice if Yuechu and Fugui can meet, as the whole series(3 parts) audience it would be much more impactful. Well there is Rumu to save the day.

With tanwa's backstory he is kind of afraid to love one person, you can see he is afraid of people leaving him. So even if he was attracted to trin at first glance and even if he kissed him (coz the hippie cult or his beliefs are you should follow your heart, you don't know what will happen tomorrow) it is probably not easy for him to commit to that love. Trin points this out to him and maybe it somehow hits the mark and he explains snd opens up about his mothers death. Trin asked if Tanwa knew his mother was gonna die what would he do. Tanwa answers he wouldn't stop her because that was his mothers choice, similarly if someone he loves leaves him he probably wouldn't stop them. Go woth the flow and the drugs are kinda coping method it seems.

For Trin, it is first time he felt attracted to a man. The time peiod this drama shows - at that time homosexuality was considered a disease and totally unacceptable. Other than this issue he also had to deal with his own sudden discovery of falling for a man. He also likes the happy vibes or you can do anything your heart likes at this moment vibes of tanwa. Tanwa kinda teaches him open up, get wet in the rain, take part him in sudden competion, the freedom that his elite upbringing and family background didn't allow him to do. Tanwa also tells him like is like breaking the barrier , helps trin accept his new found sexual side. Their love is more about character development and mental connection till now .

The 2nd couple on the other hand is very passionate .
