I love the tablecloth pulling in the special, now this is comedy.

An old trick, we all know what is coming, we are entertained all the same.

The HK remake had a major hype but the audience measurement wasn't as good as the PR suggested, and it was exactly the same as the Japan version, no HK adaptation whatsoever.

Mostly fans of Mirror watched it to the end, all the pumping News and a major disappointment.

Well Thai version is coming, we'll see if EarthMix does it better.

That's about the only plot scene they retained from the novel.

The BL XY read would be more understandable as "That Sugary Summer".

The sister does not mean "romance novel", well it is not wrong but she infers sentimental novel as in erotica.

As for the blue lake novel idk either. 急水 means water that is high in acid, rich in minerals. Or if just taking the meaning of the words, "fast current". So really it makes no sense, not without seeing the characters at least.

The plate on the sister's door 寶的窩, "Habitat of Bao". Bao means treasure. Btw the character on the door missed a stroke, my god sister you can't write your name correctly.🤣

At the river, about the bait. They refers to the story of the founding advisor of the Zhou dynasty 周朝. In exile, he was fishing with a pole, no functional hook and without bait. He was actually "people watching", waiting for a suitable person to appear before him, to end the chaos and unite the country.

So XY is not fishing either, he is watching WQ and waiting for his love to be returned.

The bait = the gay stuffs he openly put there to be seen.

The fish = WQ.

EP.4 Overall I liked this EP better than the previous ones. I don't like show with a tons of flashbacks, this EP has a clear timeline. Well XY was thinking in flashbacks but it was brief.

The story is moving and we have some good moments. I can even let the weak Asian falling cliché goes, this one is done realistic enough without the melodrama. Well WQ was attacked by a "bear"🐻.

EP.4 and we don't even know anything about the girl in the film.

They do well with the characters, with personality and their point of view. However, the story has not moved an inch, just many many maybe.

#1 The girl in the film is the mother of Minami? She came here to search?
#2 The literature teacher is lying and it was her when she was a student?
#3 Supernatural, Minami is already dead. Remember that traumatic experience, that previous show.
#4 Minami is the girl, she has something to do with the lockdown of the roof. She come for revenge?
#5 Minami has mental issues, obsessed about herself? That scene with Minami watching an unknown film alone is a bit creepy.

There are only two places Kut goes:

1. His home, where his mom is

2. Stalk Kimmon wherever he is. He has been doing that for years, high school, the playground, all 20 breakups with bitch slaps, the same university, the Sotus, even his work place is Kimmon's go to pub.

People call this behaviour stalking.

All the more reason to not watch this then. Where is the "story"?

A stalker has been toyed with by a trash for years. Stalker plots to be number 21 by enjoying continuous insults from engineer trash. Number 20 Ex-girlfriend turns lesbian, so trash has no more option but the stalker. Trash and stalker live happily ever after. How romantic? 🤦

I don't know how I feel about the ending, all these buildups, conspiracies, and all that terrors and gores, this isn't even real? That's the answer?

Okay a drama is not real, but this is a lame ending for the audience that has endured the chaotic beginning. We are rewarded with a confusing ending too?

And so the only redeemable character get to escape this hell by death, or am I even on the right track? Is it punishment or salvation for him though?

I liked "Manner of Death", but yes that ending... I won't repeat. Okay I will stop thinking and move on.

#2 is weird too.

They have said many times that they work as hosts too. A no touch hosting service? That high heels thigh queen is drooling all over First... um Wela.

Maybe they are rules that you enforce when you are in uniform. Like you can drive to work, but cannot drive when you are out on jobs like hosting for parties?

This is a fluffy show with eye candies.

There is really no plot. And absolutely slow burn. So if you like the MLs, go for it. No? It will then be painful.

I didn't think much on It, but It would be nice if they put some kind of warning ahead, no matter how brief the abuse is.

So people can be emotionally prepared and all that.

The cheesy line "you are my No.9" is a product of that too.

It infers that ever9 is the professor's eternity.

And that ever9 belongs to him forever.

"久" (a very long time) and "九" (nine) has the same pronunciation in Chinese, so it is a common homophone wordplay.

The show is called 恆久定律, meaning "The Law of Eternity".

The robot series, as in the line of this product, is 恆人. Yes the uncle said it. So Ever1 to Ever9, as numbered.

So they all match in a funny way, probably intentional.

Not really, 恆久 means "(for all) eternity".

It is a very weird name even in Chinese. Imagine someone named eternity, the naming level is about the same as calling someone E-bay or Firefox.

Btw the robot series is called 恆人, roughly translates to "man ever" or "everman". I can't pronounce it in Mandarin without bursting into laughter, it is as quirky as a name can go. Hard to pronounce too.

The professor is called 一平, "一" is one or the first, "平" is flat, normal, balance, or in a name safety & peacefulness. It is an old fashion Chinese name.

So the pair have names that matches in an alternating fashion. I think they are doing that on purpose, give the robot a robotic name.
