First 2 episodes were really good, Je He and An Na.......i feel an OTP coming on lol both have troubled pasts, and I love how they met (did anyone else have Sorry I Love You flashes in the beginning? especially when she said "You're a korean person?")
Also, y'all are always SO biased towards Jin Se Yeon and every character she plays, people just have a vendetta against her for no reason, it was the same in Bridal Mask and here too, dislike the actress okay but no reason to actually bash every character she plays, Jae Hee did nothing wrong, she did everything to protect Yoon and was a kind and strong character and she gets bashed for it? yet Quack does barely anything and is loved by most here? smh the bias is real.
Ok I have finished this, and I think the problem with this drama was how unrealistic it was, the story was great and really interesting but how it was handled was just really unrealistic to the point it was probably hard to relate to with the viewers, but I personally do not care about something being realistic or not so I really loved it and was pretty hooked to the point I was annoyed that I put this off for over 2 years because of what others said about it, this is why i say to judge something for yourself since it's all down to personal preference, you may love it or you may hate it, I do think the first half was better than the second half, it did tend to drag after episode 12 but once i'm really liking something I don't mind all that, and I was so touched by Hoon's and Jae Hee's love for each other and all they would sacrifice for each other, it was beautiful. Highly unrealistic and messy but highly enjoyable at least for me.
On episode 5 (finally watching after this being on my watch list since before it even aired) and I'm so touched by his love for Jae Hee, his heart is breaking looking for her <3
i'm pretty sure that hae soo is afraid of the wrong one... the 8th saint-like facade isn't exactly reassuring…
I would think so too if it wasn't for the novel and real history, so unless they change it it probably is So. I don't get why everyone loves Wook though, I'm still disturbed by what he said about Hae Soo being a substitute for the love he never got a chance to give to his wife........who does that? and not to mention him flirting with his wife's cousin as she was DYING.....I honestly think he is trash but all that is ok because he is "nice".
Why didn't Hae Soo realize that pushing him away telling him she is terrified of him and tretaing him like a monster is what would make him go evil, and I couldn't blame him tbh, every single person treats him like utter shit, he has recieved no love his whole life and no fair judgment, he was treated like a dog, and the first person to treat him like a human is now treating him the same way as everyone else (i'm not blaming her, I just think she could have been smarter) like how could she not think what she is doing right not is having a huge affect on how he will end up.
Tbh this drama is losing my interest, only Wang So is keeping me watching, i mean we waited 8 episodes for the romance to finally start between the mains (which is already a wtf thing for me lol) but then the moment it's finally started the vision comes and now she is treating him like a monster like everyone else did, where is the love story from the main picture? I'm just not liking where this is going and how it drags things out, the directing and writing is sloppy so it's not surprising but it has so much potential.
Not happy about The Little Mermaid references, clearly hinting at a sad ending, I'm pretty sure they're just doing it for suspense though, I'm pretty confident about a happy end.
I don't know which I'm more freaking out because of, the end of episode 9 or the preview for episode 10
What if (in this version) Hae Soo is the one who causes the prophecy to happen, meaning it's her existence back in the past because she told the 8th so now the brothers might try to kill him and that's why he ends up killing them all, it would be messed up but kind of funny lol if she is the reason the prophecy happens to begin with because of her messing with the past, so had the brothers not tried to kill Wang So, he would not have killed them. Idk just food for thought I guess. Someone stabs him in episode 10, I'm assuming the 8th maybe.

I totally agree and I hate that she told the 8th, it was a very stupid thing to do. She should be focusing on the person he is rather than some prophecy especially since that changed when he met her.
I wonder why this very important scene was cut out from episode 8. Their conversation and emotions after the makeup…
From what I understand he is asking her does she remember what he said earlier on and he's basically talking about that, he says she is his person and he says he definitely won't let her go. It's pretty romantic what he is saying cries <3
I refuse to believe Wang So is evil and will kill all his brothers, I don't see it happening in this version because Wang So is literally the kindest and most decent out of all of them underneath, he was just treated like a monster all his life so he started to believe he was one, until he met Hae Soo of course, and then started to see maybe he wasn't a monster after all, how can he turn evil.
