On episode 7 and so far it reminds me somewhat of The Princess Man, there's a lot of similarities.
The Princess Man is definitely a lot better ^^

Title Love in the Moonlight Spoiler
Why does he marry her though? like surely there must have been some way to get out of it....
She is listed as the crown princess in the cast though, and in real history the prince he is based on did have a wife before he died, her name was unfamiliar though. I also heard spoilers from the novel that he did marry him....but I'm not sure if that's true.

Why were the ratings so low for the last episode, I thought they would have increased a lot, it was the last ep…
I meant the TV ratings ^^ but I think you feel that way because it's expected, every episode of this drama was crazy so in comparison the ending feels anti climatic, but the ending was expected and a typical drama ending.

Why were the ratings so low for the last episode, I thought they would have increased a lot, it was the last ep and uncontrollably fond ended last week but the last ep had some of the lowest ratings out of the series run besides the first 2.

I am really liking this but the scenes without Wang So are so dull and boring to the point it feels like a different…
Lol sorry but i wouldn't exactly call Wook a gentleman........his wife was dying and he kept making moves to her cousin RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER and then he says after she died he will give all the love he never got to give to his wife to her.....um wtf who says that? and the fact they're dating right after his wife's death is so wrong to me.

IKR, imo they waited way too long for SooSo and dragged the Wook romance out too long, lol like look at the main poster for the drama and all the OSTs, they all feature SooSo, the main couple so where the hell are they lol we're almost half way through.

I think one of the biggest mistakes this show made is the Hae Soo/Wook romance being way dragged out, this just…
You may be right, but that is why I didn't like BOF, I think that's the only other popular drama that had the other relationship for the first half of the show too, although BOF was 4 episodes longer so it wasn't as bad imo since there was more episodes to develop the main but I much preferred the Japanese version for a few reasons but the main being they didn't drag out her relationship with the second lead that long, it was only a few episodes. Also with BOF a lot of people actually liked her relationship with the second lead while most from what I see doesn't like it dragging in this hence why I think that is one of it's mistakes, the relationship with Hae Soo and Wook is just not as well received but that's just my two cents, I understand what you're saying too ^^ as for IU from what I see from Koreans comments online, many just think she can't act and Korea in general is actually pretty critical towards idol actors, I also hear there is plenty of rumors involving IU that many just don't like her, the problem seems to be that they shouldn't have given IU with little experience and her young age such a high budget drama, I even think Lee Jun Ki was worried about that too if the article I read was legit. I think IU is doing fine, I wouldn't have picked her for the role but i don't see anything that warrants the harsh criticism she is getting in Korea.
On Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo Sep 13, 2016
I think one of the biggest mistakes this show made is the Hae Soo/Wook romance being way dragged out, this just isn't Korean drama formula, the main lead never really dates someone else for the first half of the drama, I don't like it and many don't as well, I think had they not followed that from the original Chinese and just had the main love story develop from the beginning like always (i mean they're even all over the promo posters) the ratings might not be so low. I also think casting IU was a mistake, I don't mind her but it seems a lot of Korea was unhappy with her being cast in it and she just isn't near Lee Jun Ki's level in terms of acting and experience.

Title Love in the Moonlight Spoiler
The next few episodes is when all the angst comes, I really hope they're not actually going to make the prince marry, that would be a wtf kind of thing, also if he is asking her to stay by his side and endure it as it plans to go through with the marriage then that is actually so selfish, and I didn't think the prince would be like that.
