This is the best news I've had so far this year lol this also confirms that the much better ending that actually made sense, episode 29 is the real ending since it's continuation of that, I'm so happy, I love Fu Ling and Tian Yi so much and they have a daughter! cries, please let Fu Ling and Tian Yi make a cameo in it.

Can't believe it's been 2 years almost already, I am itching to watch this again but I really don't think I can sit through the second male lead again, I never lost so much hair as I did watching this, his character was literally disgusting and he literally is the cause of almost everything that happens in this. How on on absolute earth they are people who like him i will never know. Lol i remember he has so much screentime don't think I can go through it again.

Lol many female characters and many male characters are made to be love interests, that's how romantic fiction works, what I hate is when people complain about someone having a love interest, that's how the world goes round, it's how the human race doesn't die out, just let the characters be happy like, and if one doesn't like that then they can just watch a show without any romance.

You're right! i just noticed after you said it, it's been used in so many dramas, I visited the house when I was in Korea, it's stunning but I didn't take notice of it in this yet haha.

Now don't get me wrong I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it and it's by far not even nearly the most frustrating Lakorn I've seen but need to say Peat was an absolute moron, charming yes but a moron, not only was his revenge stupid but he got so hurt and shocked every time Kiew was basically done with his shit and wanting to divorce or when he thought Kris was coming onto her, I'm like dude what the hell did you expect when you decided to go through with your stupid revenge, obviously it was going to come to this, and don't even get me started with Chaya, she was one psycho bitch, but it wouldn't be a lakorn without one, her twisted obsession with Peat is enough to get her locked up lol I'm pretty sure I'm not the only who who just wanted to punch her deluded selfish shameless face throughout the whole thing, ugh, but I at least have to appreciate that she was straight up psycho and not one who schemed behind everyone's back like they normally are lol so I'll give her that.
Peat and Kiew's chemistry was great though and their moments were either so cute or heartbreaking, I loved their dysfunctional story so I loved this lakorn, the only problems I had with it were the same problems I have with almost every Lakorn. All in all a nice watch but can I just say we did not get enough at the end for the suffering we went through lol.

I love all adaptions and am always hungry for more but this didn't do it for me, it was cute definitely but it was too out of place and way too condensed, I didn't feel any development with any characters and it's like the film is on constant fast forward, the Japanese films are a way better condensed version I think, this version just felt off, it's fine for a fluffy watch but as an adaption it's not strong, if you didn't know the original story a lot of this movie wouldn't even make sense. Also thought it was creepy how these girls had pictures of him on their phone cases and bedding........

How did it end?

By what you're saying there would be no canon in any story, of course a writer writes to tell a story but in order to do that you need structure, you need conclusions, you need a start, middle and ending, there is a reason we are given reasons for things in fiction, because it's an answer to a scene or character, if not then there would be a lack of development and frankly just bad writing and no logical conclusions for anything because people could think what they want, it's like a drama where characters do things and we're given absolutely no reason for why they do them and where there is no reason given for any of the scenes happening, where would the logic be in that and I don't believe I have ever watched something like that. It's your opinion if you like a scene or a character or if you think something is wrote well or not etc, but it's not an opinion about what happens in a certain scene, not if we're given a reason for what's happened, it's not that hard, this is like saying you can have an opinion on facts, it's like saying you can have an opinion and decide for yourself if the Heavenly Emperor actually raped Jin Mi's mother, you can't because it's a fact in the story that it happened, going by that logic nothing that happens in a series is canon because everyone can see it how they want, that's not how majority of fiction works.
How is adding more to a story an example? if anything that just adds to the point, they added a backstory to RY hence we know it's a fact what happened to him in the drama as a child rather than it being open to debate.
No it's not when she really started having real feelings for him, it was just when she was able to feel the real feelings, it was more than a few heartthrobs, it was said she loves him, her inner self said she has fallen for someone and wants to tell him, that is real feelings, again there is a reason for that scene, it's not there for the sake of it, and if her heart is hurting for him even while having that pill in her that prevents it it's safe to say that the feelings are real, and it was shown in episode 3 that he had feelings for her, there was a reason he was keeping her by his side in the heavenly realm, and him saving her life from the bad egg she ate as well as him smiling when she says his name in his sleep as well as him giving Pu Chi everything she owed him and warned him to leave her alone which Pu chi also notes on XF's behavior towards her, you claimed he only fell for her when he saw her in the red outfit, even though that is very early on anyway, but that was not the case because he says he likes her for her naivety early on and not her beauty, which her naivety was what attracted him in the first place, the characters say these things themselves in the drama, what I'm saying is not from my mouth, it's from their mouths.
Yes but again that is just your opinion on it, but the fact is it had nothing to do with him, it's not meant to have anything to do with him, it's meant to be a misunderstanding on Jun Mi's part, you say he knew his mother implicated the killings, but she didn't even, she also had nothing to do with the killings, and he only suspected, his mother never confirmed to him that she had killed them, and even then, he told Jin Mi he was going to tell her what he knew soon, but again in no shape or form is it his fault or meant to be his fault, and his mother also did not kill them so your argument is flawed to say the least. Sui Hi killed them on her own using XF's appearance, and RY showed JM the dream to make her think it was him, those are the reasons we are given for why he is stabbed, and the one ultimately responsible for his stabbing is Jun Mi, XF is the last one to blame for his murder, that's a fact.
The discussion was not about us having different opinions, some things you had were opinions which were fine, but some things you said were nonfactual because there was a scene straight out confirming otherwise which is how fiction is, there is facts in fiction, every story has facts about it that are not open to debate, there is a fine line between what's open to subjective thoughts and what's canon.

Such a shame about the episodes being cut, it made an otherwise good and well wrote drama have lots of loose ends but was very cute and enjoyable regardless.

On episode 6, I feel so bad for the younger brother, all he ever wanted was to be loved, and the eldest on the other hand, I love how he is meant to be the good and righteous one when he is the real criminal.

Well in dramas that's how fate works, and I suppose in some very rare occurrences it might in real life too but for the most part no lol.
As for the aunt, what questions do you have? about why she left? if so I'm assuming it's because she was pregnant and wasn't financially stable so she sold the house and only looked after her child, still no excuse for her to abandon her dead husbands precious niece though.

This was so much better than I expected, it was so refreshing, no dragged out misunderstandings, no annoying second leads, the story just got straight to the point, really enjoyed it, the romance was adorable and enjoyed all the characters in this.
Apparently this was 20 episodes cut down to 16, I honestly couldn't tell, I thought the drama was done just right, why did it get cut though, the ratings seemed decent towards the end at least, I've seen NR dramas not get cut.

I agree on everything you've said there too, Run Yu is living miserably now and has been for 500 years, I suppose that is punishment in itself, i nearly always think living miserably is worse than dying too, me thinking different for Run Yu is probably due to the fact I loathed him so much and he was on the screen so damn much and I was waiting for something very bad to happen to him lol.
I was hoping someone else could take the emperor throne, definitely not Xu Feng since he never wanted that, but maybe Moon Immortal since he was the brother of the late emperor, his personality seems like it wouldn't be a match for it but maybe that's what is needed too since no good has came from the other emperors lol so a change might have been good but I suppose that he probably wouldn't have wanted to be emperor either.
