I think that the difference is in Sprite itself. He was friendly with people and had bonds with them (even the negative ones), they actually knew his habits and likes/dislikes.
Zee was outsider, so when he changed they all thought he wanted to gain something from them. Even with his enemies he was mostly aloof.
For me it's not that much unbelievable that people could figure out that it's not Sprite easier than not Zee - Sprite kept people close but Zee at a distance. I think that if they were to swap again then Volleyball team would have figured it out fast as well.

Here I think that Mhok had also big emotional "smack", when he saw what he saw (and the whole fallout). Seeing person you love in pain makes one usually trying to help them. Day was feeling worthless, undesirable, so Mhok did what he did. From his conversation with his ex we know how he is in relationship: he should just hear the person out but no - he has to go extra miles, has to fix things and goes overboard (like with her laptop).

It's P'Aof so I highly doubt it. One of the commentators mentioned that donation in Thailand can be only after somebody's death and GMM does Happy Ending for their series, so...
For me much more likely candidate would be Night - it looks like he might be feeling somewhat guilty for Day's condition, so perhaps he was driving when the accident and occurred or something? And now he "pays back"... I hope not.
Also mentioned in another comment - Day doesn't need a cure, he is learning to be more independent and "new normal". I think that's the most realistic way to portray it.

I would say it's more probable that Night would become the donor than Mhok. I agree with other commentator though that the most realistic is if he doesn't get it at all. Now with Mhok he started living again, he learns to be independent - it would be a bit of a letdown to "let that all go to waste".

In Killer and Healer? No (SE = sad ending, BE = bad ending). There is however an alternative ending where 1st couple gets happy ending (=HE).
But it's so worth the tears!

Are you watching Last Twilight? Also the same director in Moonlight Chicken and it had interesting storylines (for me main was meh but the others were really good).
Only Friends is nice as well (2nd pairs meh for me).
Stay With Me has a really nice, warm storyline (it's ~Chinese BL, though). If you want to know the major theme of it - just watch opening and the song will tell you everything. There is lip balm that isn't a lip balm there 🤭
What did you eat yesterday? has older pair (they are almost 50) but the everyday issues are really nicely portrayed.

I highly recommend this hidden gem, Chinese BL: Killer and Healer.
🚨spoiler - SE/BE for basically everyone (there is alternative HE for 1st couple...) 🚨
We have 2 pairs: police officer and doctor (a bit from enemies to lovers) + opera singer and criminal (here we have revenge + more of one-sided love). The story is set in ~1920, I think.
Police officer hates drugs. Doc accidentally gets arrested during drug bust and since he was not at home his little sister gets kidnapped (their parents are dead). Doc (MC1) goes to Hong Kong to find his sister and police officer (ML1) goes there to get to the source of drugs.
Police officer meets FL1 first but ultimately she fells in love in MC1 (not reciprocated). She is however not bitter about not getting the guy and once they are all back she even helps them. Yes, it is possible to have FL in BL that one does not hate.
Then there is her friend, FL3, who is a bit of airhead and she fells in love in one of the colleagues of ML1 (PO1). PO1 doesn't feel the same (he is not interested in anybody, as far as I remember) but there is actually another policeman (PO2) who falls in love with her. She is a bit annoying but not bad.
There is also FL2 who falls in love in ML1. As you can guess he is very clearly not interested (literally in her face not interested). She decides to go revenge route against ML1.

Now to the second pair. Criminal (ML2) loves opera and asks opera singer (MC2) to perform in his house. MC2 gets sick (gues who is treating him? 😉) and hence it's decided that he must stay in ML2's mansion. MC2 had tragic past and wants to get revenge on the one who is the source of it.

I don't know who is bigger drama queen here... Mai's imagination is just wild.
Not that I am complaining but why is he always in just boxers when he is in apartment? Do people walk half naked all the time?

Tong/Gus - they are kind of meh for me so far.

I'm on EP2 and have thoughts:
1. Why were they dressed like Japanese/Chinese highschoolers in the fantasy?
2. Continuity!
The monitor was showing Jade's project but a few seconds later it was desktop with 1 open window, then back to the project (this change I can allow as we were shown back of the screen for a moment, when Jade got back to work).
Gus's coat got splashes of coffie on it (like from left to right) and then they were like 90-98% gone...
3. Why all shows recently have to do the accidental/fall kiss? It was in Sahara-sensei to Toki-kun, Twins and now here... Let's hope that the 3rd was the charm and are are not going to see them for some time. I think my 1st was in Kiss Me Again - poor Pete 🤭.
3. What a sh*tty office Mondee has - can't they afford "lightbulbs"? Then again I go to this gym where in locker they are unable to exchange a single light for months (and it's a normal ceiling lamp) - one of the members got angry after the custodian said it's because he doesn't have the right lightbulb 🤦‍♀️ and she bought it for him. Now we have light in changing room 🎉
4. Fingerprint scanner to log entry?! If I could not log in, I would have written to HR to correct the data (and they would probably contact IT to check security cameras) - why is it such an issue in here?
5. Good for Mai to clear the misunderstanding right away 👍 (sadly it haven't penetrated the delusion)

6. Uea and King are like in-laws, testing if their future son-in-law is good enough 🤭

Same! I watch EP as it's airing and then I do marathon of all realeased EPs so far. Every. Single. Week.
It starts to be unhealthy 🤣

So far I managed to see like 1st 8 min od EP1 od this show and I have to pause during interview after every sentence because the cringe is just too much (even opening was "cringye"). I so liked Yim as Syn. He had such peaceful, calm, cute and dignified presence. Just a little cinnamon bun 🥰 I think that Twins were trying to capitalize on this with Deaw but he is not as cute (I do feel sorry for him most of the time - his roommate is on my "naughty" list 😡).
I read the book and Jade was not such a caricature of an airhead. I guess they had to change a lot since they released Bed Friend beforehand (in the novel Jade was convinced that Mai liked Uea and since Jade thought that they both were single he tried to "middleman" their love 🤷‍♀️).
I am hoping that I have strength to soldier on trough this cringe and get to Yim/Tutor, I liked in Cutie Pie. Su su na [me]! 😤

I don't think it's Volleyball that would keep him on the team, if anything. I think he really enjoys Jujitsu but likes his friends (and BF 🤭) in Volleyball team. In flashbacks we could see that he did not like Volleyball as a child. To be honest I am not sure Zee liked it either.

I also think that he is just faking to be nice and has some nefarious plan. So far, if the opportunity comes, he chooses to be the bad guy (I really disliked him after all the things he did to his roommate - it's straight up bullying!).

I doubt it. The preview showed that Sprite was talking about straying forever and it seemed a bit like goodbye. I think they might go Not Me route - real Zee is going to be himself (=super mean) and that would clue First that something is not right. Or perhaps Sam is going to figure it out if he starts dating Tun and sees Sprite during competition (while cheering for his BF 🤭).

Nah, Sam is too soft. Zee would have walked all over him.
