It was shot before Head 2 Head?
Director is so important, as you can tell the difference between the two, so I thought that they were just getting a handle on their chemistry in Head 2 Head but no 😬

The only reason Jimmy and Toh got together is because the entire universe for some reason wanted it. Jimmy made…
So true! The "redemption arc" was so bad and rushed.
Fah was MVP of that series till the last EP 😮‍💨 I get that what Teh said about the break up could have changed things a bit but I am still baffled that he went from "throw the whole guy to the trash" camp to a cheerleader 😒
I can also admit that I was wrong about the doctor (I think the actor was making me feel like he was not sincere as I got no such feeling from Run) but still he was too pushy for my liking.
What was the purpose of the last scene between Fah and Teh? Are they taking over Jimmy's place (the floating bubbles, like at his pool)?

Maybe it's because I read the novel beforehand, but ultimately this was a fail for me. The script writing and…
I haven't read the novel and felt the same. The last 2 EPs were dragging so much for me. Were they actually trying to solve the crime or was it just a short break between flirting/making out?

I'm currently in episode 4,him having sex with his friend's brother while he's in the room was a bit off putting…
I (watched it a few weeks ago, so I might not remember everything clearly) actually thought that Fah was quite clear with Jimmy about not being interested... just Jimmy could not take no for the answer. I can get that he was doing it gently at first but then he was more firm (it kind of reminds me how girls/women sometimes have to soften their rejection out of fear of the guy's possible reaction - I am not saying Fah was afraid of Jimmy but perhaps he wanted to gently let him down?).
Fah is not perfect but out of all characters has the highest level of maturity (perhaps except Freeze, if he doesn't turn out to be fake nice but still IMO he crossed some quite universal boundaries/norms). Run also is quite high on my list here.
Toh - doormat and living in delulu land for far too long + visiting uninvited 😬.
Teh - keeping everything bottled inside, theoretically protecting his brother but still more on the side of his bestie.
Jimmy - manipulative, cruel, playboy etc.

I don't know how to feel about Freeze. He seems fake nice (maybe it's the actor overdoing it? 🤔).
What I really disliked was his behaviour - he was like: I am going to leave it in your house. Not a question but a statement. What does he do then? Instead of leaving it in the salon he goes to the bedroom, while the owner wasn't even in the house, never gave him permission to do so (at this point I am not even sure they even kissed once). Some time later he does similar thing (not as bad but still): I am going to cook in your house. Not a question, statement.
I also find it suspicious how he got the acceptance letter so fast and I was so creeped out what he said about just the two of them being alone there (it felt like the subtext was: even if you wanted to escape you couldn't, like people trafficked to another country without language skills 😬). Not to mention being told clearly that Teh needs to able to stand on his 2 feet (=at least finishing his studies) + cafe working fine (which was just opened)... how exactly would that be possible in the proposed timeframe?

In the novel, Tho and Jimmy take a year to reconcile. This duration is crucial as it gives weight to their separation,…
2 questions: is the novel worth the read (like I love Not Me the series but the novel should have been burned)? Is there more TehFah in the novel (we hardly get anything here)?

Yes, Teh is young, inexperienced and knows Toh best. He knows Jimmy as well and - as you mentioned - this series did not give us enough time to make Jimmy's change of heart believable, IMO.
Back to Teh - in Fah place I would seriously re-evaluated if I wanted to be with somebody who seems to be ok with such behaviour. You know - birds of a feather... No wonder Fah scolded him 🤭
So far my favourite is Fah - he is smart, decisive, has moral clarity (he should have been upfront about once-and-done but I could believe that he thought that Teh knew the rules), is all in all a good friend (like when he immediately came with proof about Jimmy - which is in contrast to Toh who knew about the deal but said nothing to Fah) and wants the best for his friends. Not to mention how cozy he looked in that fuzzy yellow seater 🥰

EP07
"Sathu! Make his liver the only thing that gets hard." 🤣🤣🤣
Fah has sharp tongue (he could have gone harsher IMO) - you better behave, Teh 🤭 The guys are leveling up the MVPing 😉 (I am adding the super chill kitty to list of MVPs)
I was honestly surprised by the block - wasn't sure he had it in him to do it.
Isn't this the same cafe that was in The Eclipse? 🤔 (I also saw Jimmy's house in several series - I think it was in Heart Killer's and Dare you to Death).
Schadenfreude 😈😈😈😈😈

EP06
Run - love the bag, hate the low expectations. The bar must be in hell when "at least you never laid a hand on me" is considered acceptable from romantic partner.
How many times can he come uninvited? (I know a person who instead of coming to for example B-day party - come to celebrate said B-day a few days earlier/later and sometimes give same day notice 😡, so it's especially annoying to me). Calling him doormat is offensive to doormats.
Honestly - is there any possible redemption arc for Jimmy? After all that I wouldn't be able to trust him and being paranoid and/or controlling is not a good recepie for a partner/relationship. Then again the resolution of the birthday was, in a twisted kind of way, an interesting step in redemption (it looks like the 1st selfless act Jimmy did because Toh would have never did on his own 😮‍💨).
On the bright side: Teh and Fah. Simply MVPs of this series. The lack of communication due to bet aside, they are really a good couple and I wish for them to get more screen time (why are they listed as mains, when they basically get support character treatment?) - no drama/NC, just them being a couple (they could just chill and I would be happy).

True. The deal however did not require him not telling anybody about it. This is what especially frustrated me with him in EP05 - Fah was using all the tricks and he still would not confess.
On the other hand Fah (he is so mature about the whole thing 🥰 - Toh should take notes) got a lot of brownie points this EP: he actually came to Toh (with truth backed by proof!) and tried to help him. Some people cannot be helped, I fear 😮‍💨 (their tactic is actually what seems to work with DV victims - they need to know that they have support system when the situation finally gets too much for them, so that they feel like leaving is an option).
I've seen for some EPs already that Jimmy has genuine feelings but is too much of a player and focused on getting his target to actually dissect them and come to terms with it (I admit I re-played 1st scen of EP01 several times with a lot of Schadenfreude 😈). He was right about his home (at 1st) - I would have been creeped out 😬
Honestly I think I feel sorry the most for Teh at the moment - seeing person you love in pain + feeling powerless must be a torture (Toh lost not only pity points but self-respect as well 😮‍💨).

I am "marathoning" and finished EP04.
Tell me how: Toh heard phone call between Jimmy and Teh but Fah hasn't?!
Now on to the main point: Jimmy love bombing and Toh being delusional. If not for what Toh knows I would have felt really bad for him but from the moment he decided that it's ok, I lost some of the sympathy. Another thing is how Toh hasn't told Fai about the deal - if that doesn't change, then my opinion of him would plummet (in all honesty Teh could have told about it to both Toh and Fah as well but he is not exactly portrayed as a green flag - considering how he is fine with Jimmy's behaviour as long as it doesn't concern his brother - and by Toh's reaction he would have known what is going on but he is definitely the conflict avoiding type 😒).

I finally caught up and still don't get 😅 (I get the plot and it's twist but it's still not emotionally connecting... perhaps due to main CP).
Now I have Mark to look forward to in the next EP, so I will definitely not miss it 😁

I've been binging this series and I have mixed feelings. On one hand the whole story is not super riveting, intrigue is so-so but I find myself at the end of EP and wondering how did it went so fast. The love story is also a bit usual, as normally you can more or less track the relationship but here we got from 0 to 100 in few minutes. There is no comedic relief, no "feels", no actual drama - it feels kind of flat (comparing it to Fourever You 2 or any FirstKhao series etc. it just doesn't make me even feel sad when someone is crying), so why am I watching it (I started it for Junior, I am not gonna lie)? Boun is also not helping. I think if I watched it week-by-week, I would have dropped it/forgot about it already. IDK.
I just started EP07, so perhaps I will get more clarity after watching it and EP08.

It was good (and I am not a fan of horrors). I added opening son to my playlist (and I will admit that I was listening to it on repeat 🤭).
I was let down by the final showdown to be honest as it felt rushed.
Some of the "highlights":
Calling for backup ❌
No location from smart watch but earpiece not only did not fall off or was found but also had the range ❌
Leaving a noose ✅
Garroting for minnutes without any impact on the victim ✅
Strangling unsub for more than 10s to make him unconscious ❌
Getting barely hung and loosing consciousness for hours (perhaps days) ✅
Checking for brain activity before deciding on palliative care ❌
Getting stabbed and being fully functional on the next day ✅
No resolution to King's dad story line ✅
Out of nowhere being successful with chants (Thup) ✅
Ghost getting "destroyed" ❌

I am in progress of reading it - so far at least he figured out that he likes Dao. I know that he is going to have stiff competition against Dad's beloved 🤭

I think part of it is time limit (the novel is quite long, so they cut and rearranged order of things), and to keep Fah as a clear green flag (the revenge was morally more of a gray area) but perhaps in last EP they mention something happening to him in prison (Tiger has contacts, right?)?
Onsen scene was also shortened but for me "the feels" are more important than NC, so I am not complaining.
What I hope for (but almost impossible that they are going to shown it) is "the children talk". It's hilarious on the outside but it shows how deep the childhood affected Phoon and his priorities.
Just less than 2 days to finding out how they end it 😆

@Gmmtv, stop killing Khao's moms!!
They started from Eclipse with "not mother" and then decided to escalate, so at this point it becomes like (generally in GMM) sponge bath, JJ/AJ, guitar, etc - mandatory in FK series...

that has to be the most stupid decision Singha ever made. leaving Thup alone in the car. forget the dad, what…
I agree to most of that but remember that the unsub was a police officer, so he has a bit of know how.
On the other hand there were plenty of illogical/not procedural actions so far... I think the one I remember the most vividly was when they went to victim's house and his sister allowed them to check the mail. Forget that they found the doll almost immediately but when they unpacked and saw what was inside nobody thought about gloves and they simply smashed it right there and then 🤦‍♀️
