I would agree to most about grandma but we should consider that this is happening in 1963, she is quite old, so she might not have came across people of the same sex having feelings for each other + considering how girls were (and is some parts of the world still are) considered like a property and were basically sold (or gifted with extra assets, so that somebody would take her) - which is exactly what is happening to Pin - it might seem normal to her. I am not saying that it makes it ok and that she doesn't have capacity to understand and accept who makes her grandson happy + stand on his side.

Father's surname is Liu and in EP10 they said that aunt's name was Fang Yuan Rou. Cousin's surname was Liu, so since the incest was not something to brag about it must have been somebody else from Liu family who was the "official" father.

I have been watching the series (currently on EP29) and just cannot with the women and their lot in life (regardless if the end up in arranged marriage or not). As it currently looks like maybe 1 is going to have a happy ending. It's not just because of their husbands (I was so angry when she decided to stay with the guy and he promised to do better but no, his artistic vision is the only that matters, not to mention ditching his job to party) but their birth families as well (the family was almost bankrupt but thanks to her hard work and friendship with you-know-who she was able to get them a fortune but they were still squandering it, not listening to her when they were supposed to sell the boat and even demanding more money and calling her ungrateful and claiming that all this should belong to her younger brother, who was burning trough the money and apparently not contributing any labour) - I won't even talk about in-laws who torture the girls and expect from them obedience and care (free labour). I even pity the stepmother and other mistresses to get involved with those spineless men and not really having much options in life than claw at other women, begging for affection and making themselves smaller than in order to secure their own place and their children's. Not to mention constantly being blamed for the children (not being pregnant, miscarriage, birthing "wrong" gender). For me this series is showing why 4B movement (and other similar) exists, as what was happening then still continues to happen now but at least some of us have opportunities to break the circle.

They whipped out almost whole line of vampires but only met 1 born one? Punn didn't actually know Ramil, so why didn't he off him right away (he had chance in the museum, on his sofa...)? Why was he even helping with the ritual to get the guys powers back. (nobody was forcing him to give blood or he could say he is too traumatized after what happened with Methas - literally he could have done anything)? It would have been infinitely easier to get rid off him without them. Back to the orphanage - it was beeping shown that Punn was in a room with multiple bunk beds, so logically they were being used by other children but there was nobody else in the room, when she woke him up - all the kids were slaughtered in the hallway. How is that possible? Nobody made any noise? They all just were standing in the corridor waiting for their turn? Ramil was locked for 100 years in the painting but modern world doesn't phase him and it looks to me like he is pretending in front of Punn the few times he uses technology that he is not adapt (like with the tablet/mobile games). He even dropped his "old-timey" speech basically right after release from the painting. I also don't get what he sees in Punn but I can chalk it to "the heart wants what it wants". I am not saying he didn't (I doubt that she actually wanted any of s°xual acts that happened in her past life but at that time women didn't have option to say no, especially to their husbands). We only have some flashbacks so we cannot say that she hasn't used her body (or at least tried) more than we were shown and she was quite determined to get what she wanted, so since as a woman she didn't actually have that many cards she could play (remember that her accumulated wealth, from years of presents and "salary" from her family, was around 700 teals after the rebirth and the other guy was able to pay 13000 to get his daughter out of jail; my favourite girl decided to be a 💯 business woman and how was that considered? 😒), she would use all she had.
I am on EP35 and faking making love scene... Why is she so shy? In her last life she was seducing at least 2 guys (and I think she failed at both) and had multiple bed partners but now she is oh so innocent and shy? I also do not like that she seems to randomly loose braincells and has to wait for ML to make a plan or tell her what is (obviously) happening.
Coming back a few EPs - yes, why is she afraid of you? Is she just cray-cray or perhaps it's due to all the times you tried to strangle her / physically attacked her (that chin was definitely bruised)? 🤦♀️
Another thing that wonders me is why exactly emperor's mother didn't want the lady to be consort and to make her concubine at most? It's not like her family had any real power or they needed the other woman - it looked like a spite towards the groom. The girl hasn't even made any waves or was mean - she was at most the target. I get that she wanted another girl but said lady couldn't be chosen, so since she cannot get the woman she wants, then the groom cannot as well? And the award for the mother of the year goes to... 😮💨
