A post on facebook stated that in the novel mother of sword deity Li Han Yi told Su Mu Yu that if he wasn’t from Blood River, we could be Li Han Yi’s husband. I don’t read the novel so not sure if this is correct but it’s interesting. If SMY’s family was not killed and he grew up like a normal kid, he would probably become a sword deity and pair with Li Han Yi 😉

What is his next project? I see a rumor that it’s also a costume drama but don’t know if he confirms yet.

The current rating doesn’t reflect the quality of Blood River at all!!! Now I believe that the majority of MDL members are romance lovers or there’re so many haters here. Many romance dramas have super high rating on MDL but some of them are actually flopped and I can’t watch any of them. On MDL now, we can’t trust the ratings nor enjoy seeing nice posters 🫤

Yes, they will have a happy ending! In the final episode, there’s a scene after the credits finish rolling so everyone easily missed that scene which is the actual ending.

MDL new rule is to use the thumbnail picture on the streaming platform as the official poster here. Many members including me submitted high quality posters but were all rejected. My other favorite dramas suffer the same thing. Not sure why MDL lower its standard to make MDL a cheap look website???

The ML was complimented by the creator of Su Mu Yu and people who know the character the most. The drama is a hit with highest rating in the mainland as compared to other dramas airing at the same time. It’s successful and favorable that they plan to produce season 2. How is this “a terrible waste”???????
