Yeah, it looks like the story may not be the same as the anime. Riley Wang’s character (i.e. Seiran Shi, the emperor’s brother) should be among the main leads but in this drama his character is a support role. Meanwhile, DW’s character is a minor role in the anime but is the second lead in this drama.

Does anyone know whether the comedy in this drama is the same as A Dream Within A Dream? I expected this drama was a serious one like the anime so the second trailer disappointed me a little bit 😕

Same here. The first trailer makes me feel the drama is more like the anime than the second one. Hoping the drama is more serious than comedic.

Hopefully, it’s true because comedy like ADWAD is really not my cup of tea. This is the live action from my favorite anime and there’re many great cast so I don’t want to drop just because of the comedy 😐
