I don’t know how this happens neither, but I saw the same issue happened to several dramas I watched this year. Rating suddenly dropped even below 7 by the increase of hundreds of rater in a very short time.

The sudden decrease of rating from 8.3 to 7.9 caused by the increase of nearly 100 raters who may be antis or fans of upcoming dramas.
