No doubt in Go ahead his main character arc is ended on a good note. Which is his family bonding. Apart from that he has two more subplots His personal growth, friendship and relationship. His personal growth is also ended on a good note. But the third one it ended neither happy nor sad, giving it an open ending is not the best idea. I know the point where this plot takes place there are larger themes to focus on, But starting something and not properly exploring it is kind of unsatisfying, Here Ziqiu character got an open ending. But this types of ending suits only on shows that has too much complex character and raw real messed writings (For ex- The Interest Of Love). When this type of shows had an open ending it makes sense. But when shows like Go ahead which has narrative of personal bonding and character development, where narrative takes shift in too many aspect to develop story they can't just end one aspect in an open end.

This is what makes a drama incomplete/underdeveloped. He Ziqiu character never had a story here it's just a situation. A story is something which constantly unfolds and explore all aspects....
EP 15-16 preview is all about Duan Wu and Yan Zijing, My heart can't handle this. The most logical and genuine way to show that there love is not something that just happen in 2-3 episode. It is the love that blossoms naturally and quietly.
