I'm done with ep 6 and apart from weird choices of music (again), questionable behaviour ("he hit you so hard that you were unconscious for days...but you HAVE to forgive him!") and whatnot, there's only ONE major issue that annoys me the most. 12 days until the moon hits the Earth? Even without being a genius in Physics, the Earth looks way too good for the moon to be as close as it's shown sometimes. They should have watched the video by kurzgesagt >.
Holy shit! I wanted to say something positive about the series and how I kinda regret that I finished it so late. Even dropped it before (and now I don't understand why I did it). Now I'm coming here to be greeted with this massive toxicity like....wth is going on guys? Nothing better to do than vilifying people that you don't even know? Twisting stories and what not? Chill out! I think it's better to care for your own life. I always find it funny that this kind of behaviour is so easily being transported into social media or anything virtual in general, but if those people were suddenly met face to face, they'd stay silent. I don't get it. As if they don't understand that even the actors are human beings. Yes, some of them might be shitty but most likely you don't really have the full picture of what they did, said, didn't do or didn't say. 'Hate the artist, not the frame' is something SOME people take a tad too serious. Let officials be the judge and stop being a d**khead yourself. Just enjoy what makes you happy :). That being said: I'm glad I finally finished Bad Buddy and even though I wished for Pran and Pat to be able to officially be together, they made a big step. It's good to show so many different sides and struggles, that many couples have to deal with.
I'm just like 5 mins into ep 2 and think "what kind of unnecessary white lie is this?!" I think this has also been something that bothered me in season 1. I don't dislike the series because of that but this lessens its quality.
I said it last week and I'll say it again: this series makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I was super happy to see they included "Just being friendly" because it suits the series extremely well and it's one of my favourite songs ^^. This is seriously one of the best examples of a great (BL) series. There is drama of course and there are "action sounds" (there must be a proper expression for that but I'm too lazy to look it up xD) but somehow it all fits together. This is just very precious and I loved the tenderness between Gun and Tinn while they talked about the more serious question. My day wasn't too good. I called myself lazy because I got up late, wasn't able to study and stayed at home all day. This cheers me up all the time. Thank you~ ^ㅅ^!
This was... very disappointing. Thankfully, I had no expectations before I started watching it. xDI didn't like…
Same here. I also gave it a 5 and am quite disappointed on how it ended and the general plot. Asking myself if the original story was written this poorly as well :/.
Chopper might look cute but to me he's kinda sus now xD. The series itself is going up a little. Slowly but steadily. The music was weird sometimes but then there were well chosen pieces which I liked a lot. Weirdly set music or choice of music seems to be extremely common these days in Thai dramas. There's been a Vietnamese BL series which did extremely well in that sense. So I really urge Thai producers to do better. Because it really is quite cringy way too often.
Having some kind of survivors guilt is always such a difficult thing to overcome. My friend unfortunately got…
Survivors guilt can happen even if you haven't even been there. I often had those thoughts and feelings that it would be better vice versa. Sometimes, when I feel very low, these thoughts come back. But then the other person would have suffered. I can't change time and time most definitely can't heal all wounds. This episode made me so sad and happy at the same time. Sad for how Team feels and what he says, because I can relate to it so much. Feeling happy because he has Win by his side and helping him without urging Team to tell what's happened in detail. And so many criticized, that those two don't make public what they are and don't come out with their true feelings towards each other. I think for those people this is too close to reality? Because I think this is very well written and how it works for so many people. For me, for my friends...if I looks around there've been couples coming out very quickly and some dragged on for months or even longer than a year. Who's to decide how much time it takes to say "we are a couple" or "we love each other"? I like the slow pace and that these two have actual development. I treasure this series even more than UWMA by now. I was mad that UWMA has neglected Team and Win so much and got worried that in Between Us, they'd get too little screen time because of the side couples. Sometimes I want a bit more but I usually get the amount of time with them that I need, to make my Sunday better. And even though episode 9 reminded me of my own past, I still enjoyed it.
This series gives me a wamr, fuzzy feeling. Like some already mentioned on this platform, GMMTV series somtimes kinda lack character. But this time, I can click witht this series and even if there's drama, it's not over the top dramatic. Until now I really love this show and it brightens up my mood when I'm sad or even gives me more happiness when I'm already happy ^^.
I remember liking the manga. Probably, at that time I haven't consumed a lot of well written stories yet. I mean...WHO WOULD SAY "oh! we need to write this article" "yes yes!" WHEN YOU'RE KINDA DOING IT?!? If my love interest would suddenly say something like this out of the blue I'd be like "...are you SERIOUS?! THIS is your problem right now??". It might have something to do with how Japanese tend to behave but this just seems to be over the top again. I still like this because it gives off a happy atmosphere which I am in desperate need of these days (and other series are a bit more serious and sometimes sad). So this is a good distraction for me. But I have to say that the OP (ED) song is what I like the most about this series 😅.
God, what an awful episode. As I predicted in a previous post, Gun and Golf would magically resolve their differences…
Now I feel like it was a good choice to drop the series after watching 8 episodes. I hoped for a great development of Name but it seems that they threw it away and tried to put in as much content into the series as possible...just to not serve any content at all in the end. That's the problem if the writers try to focus on too many things. It becomes a complete mess. This is why I hope that Between Us won't become a mess as well. Right now it's still good for me but I already heard many voices saying that they disliked the fact that there are just too many couples and the main problem is being pushed into the background.
100 days? Every 2-3 years? How is this a happy ending?! Wouldn't it have been better if all four of them had moved…
Someone else in the comment above already said it. Choco mentioned that it will be easier each time they will come back so their stay might also be prolonged and the time for the wait might get shorter as well :). I like that idea ^^!
Same 😆 I saw a clip on IG and couldn't believe my eyes.
I was a little bit overwhelmed but I'm also a bit hyped for this. I think this will be an interesting story. The girls look like they play strong characters as well. I like it!
I remember that I liked the manga as well. I don't remember too much of the story though and now in there series…
Yes! I think so as well. The feeling I have while watching this is also similar to when I read the manga. Distant in a way but getting closer quite quickly. I like it. I hope it'll stay this good ^^.
almost everyone here is kinda hating on the first episode and here i am just being happy one of my fav manga is…
I remember that I liked the manga as well. I don't remember too much of the story though and now in there series there are some aspects that are just wayyyy too overused (kinda running away and talking to yourself "please heart, stop beating so fast"....what is this?! Don't do it!), I still liked the first episode. And...I am easy to please as long as there is no super annoying cheesy song involved xD.
I don't really know what to think of this. It's kinda nice to see that it's both who are starting from a similar point (emotion-wise) but there still needs to be some explanation. The story feels quite flat and very hush-hush. Probably due to the fact, that the episodes are very short and have a "previously" and a preview for the next episode. Just leave it out! I usually know what happened and I don't want any spoilers! Especially in episodes which are THIS short, there should be a short OP and ED and that's it. I'll continue because I wasn't completely repelled but the oh so often present bed scene was just...🙄
That being said: I'm glad I finally finished Bad Buddy and even though I wished for Pran and Pat to be able to officially be together, they made a big step. It's good to show so many different sides and struggles, that many couples have to deal with.
