I really like that this was filmed with both characters speaking the same language. There have been several shows where they didn't and still understood each other. Some of those shows were good but it mostly didn't make sense. So this is already a big plus for me ^^

Ah....another letdown. But what did I expect when this was labelled as romance -.-? The lying, the "I hate you"-attitude and you can't wash up when the water is cold? You're getting sick because of cold water?? Did the script writers run out of good ideas? Yes, I'm only three episodes in but it usually should be enough to show the viewer the core of the show. I'm sad! I haven't seen Seoham in such a long time that I wanted to give this a shot. Well, I did but this is not for me.

It's amazing how he's always looking so handsome! My heart was already fluttering during the last show he was playing in. I don't like his haircut in this show but that doesn't diminish the fact that he's still a stunner and can most definitely play a character in his late 30s. But I think I will never get rid of my first impression of him as Kang Yohan. This character and Jisung's elegance in how he portrayed him will forever be locked into my heart.

It might be like this. Sometimes I also wonder if I should have continued. But as it always costs time to watch a show, I think I should be at least a tiny bit interested in its story. Maybe I would have liked it from ep 4. Maybe I'll start again with this show in the future. But for now, it feels like webtoon adaptations are not meant for me. I think the only adaptation that I like was Weak Hero and that differed quite a bit from the webtoon 😅

Okay....this feels a bit like you didn't fully understand the character that Jisung portrayed there as he wasn't "evil" or "the devil" as the title might have suggested. But to each their own. To me Jisung felt the most sincere in that show and also in Connection. Maybe also in Adamas but I couldn't complete that show yet.

It saddens me for the sake of Jisung who once again tried to make the best of it. To me it feels so obvious that the show is based on a webton and the story falls flat. It's boring, kind of predictable and far from what I expected it to be. Where The Devil Judge was showing that there's not only black and white and people can be morally gray but still fighting for a good cause, it was presented more nuanced. Closer to reality. It had a darkness that felt extremely painful but real at the same time. But here, I see no emotion. I see greed and shamelessness. There's only so much that an actor can do and with a flat webtoon character, Jisung and also the other actors can't do too much about it if they still won't to stay true to the original story.
So I'm sticking to my principle (3-episodes rule) and will drop this show. I'm sorry Jisung...but he cannot save this show/story :/.

Erm...have you watched The Devil Judge? He had some sincere and beautiful smiles in there.

Honestly, how many more shows does it take to get rid of this tiring trope of "no, I won't talk."? This story follows the same pattern as many other BL and it's becomming dull. There might be SOME tweaks here and there but eventually it's the same old thing, only punk-themed. The acting is okay but this really doesn't catch me :/

I'm in happy tears!! I just reached episode 8. When he stepped out of the elevator and his face was revealed, I gasped and yelled "VINCENZO!!!" Little did I know....LITTLE DID I KNOW that this REALLY was a crossover! I'm still in shock! I've never experienced this in ANY show. NOT like this and especially not in K-Drama! Wow! I'll continue crying and this will forever be locked inside my heart as one of the most precious moments in K-Drama history for me. Now I wish that Kang Yohan could meet Vincenzo Cassano as well! 🥹

It still didn't make much sense to me but oh well... It's a cute little romance. I'll let it slide. But I agree! I would have liked to see how he arrived as well.

But somehow the past still changed? It's confusing to me. Why did they do that but....maybe one shouldn't ask too many questions about the plot and general story line 😅

This! It was already clear from the start what will happen. But some people always wanna cry. It's okay! There are some flaws in the writing (I really dislike the constant "damsel in sdistress" but oh well, let it be!) but eventually, it had to come to this scenario. There will be a happy ending anyways.

Thats not how a time slip actually works. You cannot change the past and what happened will happen again. No matter what you do. That's proper story telling concerning time lines. So she simply doesn't know in DETAIL what had happened and she herself was surprised. So this has always been like this but nobody ever knew and spread the lie about the king had gone crazy.

I wondered about the queer part as it wasn't mentioned in the tags. I just started to rewatch Beyond Evil for the second time and found out about this remake. Now I wonder if I should maybe simply stick to the original. 🤔

I hope it will be available internationally. I heard that there are some issues with the app if you don't live in SK or Japan and honestly, I want to watch the show on a bigger screen and it doesn't really seem like you can use the app on a PC? It feels a bit inconvenient QQ.

Ep 4 still had terrible subs. So without any knowledge of Korean, I'd be completely lost 🙈

it feels obvious to me. He isn't necesserily good at fighting but at observing and learns extremely fast.

It's definitely a bonus if you know at least a TINY bit of Korean. Hopefully better subs will be up soon.
