I really do like this show but why do I need to read "No. It's nothing" or "I have nothing to tell you" all the time? In every drama? I want to resolve things, so I talk. Much has already been laid open so WHY is there hesitation? To me, it doesn't make sense but then again people in my life don't make sense either. They tell me to open up and say what's on my mind. I still take their feelings into consideration thus when I open up, I try not to sugarcoat anything but still try to not be hurtful in a mean way. And then, when everything is said, I'm punished with silence. Not everybody is like that but...same as here. What do you want? Not the truth? And why won't you say it if somebody is asking for it several times? Please give me a show in the future were they refrain from using "it's nothing" so many times. I know that we use it in our daily lives as well. Out of consideration or just because we don't want to talk about a certain issue (especially when we haven't made up our minds yet). But here...it's happening way too often for me.

Hm....hmhmhm! Especially big HM for the last episode. Can't relate, can't understand. We're all grown ups and ghosting somebody for three years is okay? And watching her for one year makes everything better? The actors all did their best they could do with this kind of script. It was okay but the last episode brought it to a lower rating for me. It's not complete 💩but, well. I think nothing can top The Devil Judge for me (I'm trying to watch as many shows with Jisung as possible 😅).

I don't need a rapid development as that usually doesn't make much sense to me. I feel more and more disconnected from BL these days as the shows either show bad acting, bad script or just giving in to "let's have s*x right away". This is not what I want which is why I guess that I'm not really into BL but something more. There are many great storylines which are queer coded but not labelled as BL. My favourite example would be The Devil Judge. Especially in hindsight I'd say that both of the ML's have a far deeper connection than a close friendship. It's especially visible during the last episode but it's been there all along. And that show has a very strong story. Something like a kiss was missing to make it a drama with BL romance on the side. I don't need it to be shoved into my face. You can make it obvious without being TOO obvious and that's what they did there. So...I might stick to this show but as it's a manga adaptation, I don't have high hopes that it will satisfy me.

What do you think you're missing in this? A more fleshed out story? I for myself feel that I grew tired of BL's that only describe how two people fall in love with each other. At least if there is no to little story added at all. And especially for BL, most "stories" are simple and very flat. There are some Kdramas that I came to like. At first I thought that fan made videos were just exaggerating but with some of them, they weren't. Some are extremely queer coded and it feels as if you're watching something unfold but veeeeery slowly. The story tells it very subtle but it is there. The connection between the two ML. So, if you want a good story with great chemistry between ML's, maybe "bromance" might be more to your liking and also giving other countries a chance ;).

It's been going for 19 years already so...maybe not that sweet anymore. But thank you 😊

Same here! I don't know how to deal with my issue but this drama made me laugh and sit on edge. Even though my problem is related to a relationship and every song that I listen to is about love and makes me tense...this drama is just like a soft and warm hug. So I hope the two of us will face better times soon! 💜💜💜

I think that I am not much into where it is going from around ep 2 but I think it's still fine to like it. I think even the cut version can be nice.

Same here! It's great to see such a realistic show. I hope that the story won't be torn apart as it only has 5 episodes.

I liked this show at first because the characters spoke up and didn't seem to be easily swayed. But guess I was wrong. "Unknown" is currently my only hope to do better. Pretty saddening.

I'm always amazed by how one episode can ruin almost the entire show. "Let's break up" is overused by now. Can't they serve the viewers something else?

I was finally able to watch it the cinema. No clue why my country took so long but I was able to dodge spoilers about it! If you have watched the trailer, forget about it! Imo it has NOTHING to do with the actual movie. Everybody is splendid! No actor seems out of place and everything seems so believable. I have miss this kind of movie and I'm glad that I was able to watch it on the bigger screen. Really beautiful!

Not even halfway through the last episode and am already losing it. ALWAYS the "let's break up without further talking about it." I just don't buy it! Every manhwa seems to end like this and the actual series copies this bs. I was able to binge watch it until now and am not sure if I can finish this show. I think the next 25 minutes of my time shouldn't be wasted on this. Quite a disappointment but then again, KBL's are either hit or miss for me.

As I said, I can't condone drug abuse. But I understand what addiction means and SK is terrible when it comes to "help". Everybody needs to be perfect. At least many people make it look like it but a friend of mine is telling me some not so great stories about SK. So...sometimes it's just too difficult to get out of a slump by yourself. Especially concerning addictions.

So instead of being helpful in any way they just chastise him? I can't condone drug abuse but to pretend that he alone is to blame for everything and to portray him as the scapegoat.... I wanna puke! This SO much feels like a "typical" Korean reaction again. One person did something bad, seemingly only involving themselves, "doctors" (do they even have morals?!) didn't care because of cash, more drug abuse probably of depression as well....BOOM! Cocktail for disaster and the media LOVES to jump onto the train of "BURN THE WITCH!". I just don't know if I'll be able to watch this show now.

I found it quite understandable and it helped me make up my mind. All shows are about personal taste/preferences so...I think this review for the first episode is quite valid.
And @OP: I just looked at you watchlist. You might like The Devil Judge ^^.

I would have been super confused if I had watched that. Somehow the trailer was giving me "this will be meh"-vibes thus I'll probably not watch this show :/.
