So if Meung Nan sees MORK AS A FRIEND, and knew Mork likes Pi, why couldnt meung clear things out with Pi. Also…
Muang Nan has no idea that Pi likes him. Muang Nan has been friends with Mork for a long time and he believes that Pi is after Mork just like Mork is after Pi. For example, he told Mork that he should go a bit easy on the flirting and he also told Pi that it's okay to have kissed Mork. He's encouraging them towards each other while being oblivious to his own role in the drama.
Besides, Mork being the decent guy that he is doesn't make Muang Nan feel obligated to cut off Pi neither does he hurt Pi by making Muang Nan turn him down. He wants to win Pi’s affections completely on his own (it wouldn't be true otherwise would it?)
This director is just bad at endings XD (she's the same director as that of History3: MODC and we all know how that went). We should do a poll for whom Ruo Ning should choose and the ships we want to see...
Nevertheless a good watch and I've saved all the nc gifs ;)
Also, Bai Zixin is SO pretty, everytime she did that bouncing thing with her hair around her face (in Jing Chen’s flashbacks), I could feel my heart speed up (low-key crushing on her and Jing Chen).
If you're looking for SOMETHING that can entertain you other than Fish Upon the Sky (this is obviously a masterpiece…
Oh my I see you're Indian. I'm from India (Kolkata) and while we've had parades which I've watched from afar, I've never experienced it up close. The pride parade was a beautiful celebration but an entire episode full of it when they have such a lot of ground to cover in six episodes is meaningless to me.
Honestly, who has a glamour shot of themselves over their bed..? I think Nubsib needs to learn a little humility.…
Thai dramas are not good at designing rooms AT ALL. All rooms have posters of a 1975 and/or posters of an upcoming bl drama of the same company (a tedious joke). And photos are always photos of the room's inhabitant which is just plain weird. . .
What is up with gene brother Ik I shouldn’t be jumping into conclusion but he is very suspicious he looked so…
I was so surprised when Jab was revealed as Gene's older brother...like he's still living with his parents and acts younger. I wouldn't be surprised though if Gene and Nubsib's brother are another couple but introducing a new couple in episode 11 is a stretch
If you're looking for SOMETHING that can entertain you other than Fish Upon the Sky (this is obviously a masterpiece…
Thanks. I already am but so far I find Melvin Sia's acting a bit too much and the story in third episode was what...a Taiwanese pride parade. They tried to make it funny too but I just can't get into it.
Okay is it just me, am I over thinking things? Or does Gene/Sib still kind of fall into the top = masculine, bottom…
They do play into it, something I hoped they'd change about the show. Regardless of a person's personality, Thai bls have this typical Seme/Uke thing. It's so hard to find Riba couples (whereas most couples I've met irl including my own are switch couples)
Regardless of that Nubsib is much softer and I love that so I'm not docking points off the show for this ;) (also Gene is so hot-tempered like damn)
I'm stuck on episode 9, should I keep watching this? Honestly I've considered dropping it since episode 2 but…
DROPPING IS NOT A DISEASE, something I've been preaching since my early days on mdl in 2020 ;)
And never worry about 'you' being the problem. Sometimes shows just don't click then but they do later. I was recently watching SOTUS and I quite enjoyed it but in 2019 I hated it for how carelessly Arthit was being a bully
Omg, did I finally find someone who disliked UWMA. 17 episodes was too much and I trudged through it over a span of eight months or so. I'm much more excited for TeamWin in between us.
Everyone seems to dislike Tiffy because for calling Time 'gay'. Can I just explain where she's coming from.
Tiffy is mainly portrayed a confident female who takes no bs from anybody but under that facade there's self deprecation. It takes time for her to come to terms with the fact that someone may actually like her. That's why she asks Tum to 'not joke' about liking her. She feels that anyone loving her is a colossal joke and not capable of being true. She thinks of herself as the problem and not Tum.
When Tiffy said she used to date girls and confided into Tum how she was harassed for it (specially by her mother)? She also seems to have relationship issues adding to all this.
Tum is a classic metrosexual man and most close-minded people would take him to be gay. But Tiffy, being the bisexual queen that she is, is too open minded to hedge Tum in those same gender norms which she has been hedged into throughout her life.
She's putting up barriers around herself to protect herself from whatever happened to her in the past. Calling Tum 'gay' was her first defense and telling him 'not to joke' or play with her feelings was her second defense.
This show would have been one of the top Thai BL if it was more streamlined. I'd make these changes personally:1.…
Can I just put forth my explanation of why Tiffy is being like this. Tiffy is mainly portrayed a confident female who takes no bs from anybody but under that facade there's LOTS of self deprecation. It takes time for her to come to terms with the fact that someone may actually like her.
That's why she asks Tum to 'not joke' about liking her. She feels that anyone loving her is a colossal joke and not capable of being true.
Also, Tiffy said she used to date girls and confided into Tum how she was harassed for it (specially by her mother)? She also seems to have relationship issues adding to all this.
Calling him gay was her first defence mechanism to not get into a relationship with him. Telling him not to joke about relationships was her second defense. She's just putting up barriers around herself.
Where did Toffy get the idea that Tum is gay? Have I missed something?
This stems from 3 facts: 1. Tiffy is mainly portrayed a confident female who takes no bs from anybody but under that facade there's self deprecation. It takes time for her to come to terms with the fact that someone may actually like her. That's why she asks Tum to 'not joke' about liking her. She feels that anyone loving her is a colossal joke and not capable of being true
2. Remember when Tiffy said she used to date girls and confided into Tum how she was harassed for it (specially by her mother)? She also seems to have relationship issues adding to all this
3. Tum is a classic metrosexual man and most close-minded people would take him to be gay. Despite the fact that Tiffy is a bisexual queen and she's herself breaking many stereotypes, she harbours inhibitions too.
But it's mostly that Tiffy thinks of herself as the problem and has confidence issues. She's too open to hedge Tum into classic gender boundaries (as in just ignore my point 3)
Still unclear:1. Hin is introduced as Gene's assistantWhat is Mork's relationship with Aoey's sister and the rest…
Regarding point 1, I'm sure that will be clarified soon but what I've figured out is that Mork was the one who told Aoey's sister about Aoey's relationship with another man and Aoey's sister used it against Aoey to put him in his father's bad graces.
Regarding point 2, the entire family had to move away for some reason. Gene was sent to boarding school when he was 14 or so. Must be some big family issue which wasn't elaborated on because it wasn't relevant to the plot.
Regarding point 4, no? I am pretty sure Orn said something else and that he was back in Thailand to complete university.
Regarding point 5, granted that Gene should've visited Orn, Nubsib was in USA so there's not much to say there. It's also indicated that Gene hasn't visited Orn in quite sometime by Nubsib's brother's comment that Orn misses him.
Regarding the sixth point of the second part of your comment, when Nubsib first introduced himself to Gene he said 'Sib' instead of 'Nubsib'. Just a bit of Thai will help you distinguish at least the names from the words ;) I think Lovely Writer did a wonderful job on the 'details'
In MODC 2 page, someone replied to me that in the original novel, the accident and fall out were just a dream…
I know what happens in the novel but it seems that the accident actually happened in the season because they don't give us a proper reconciliation at the end of season 1. Also there are plans for a season 2 (I dont think season 2 will be a 5 minute episode showing Xiang waking up from his dream right?)
I've been watching dramas since the latter half of 2019 and I've avoided Tharntype like a diseased corpse after watching the third episode. Now I'm in such a drama slump that I've reached a particular low in my life where I've decided to watch it. The funniest and biggest flaw of this show is how the author seemed to have absolutely no idea about how sex works. Regardless of the 'how', sex will leave obvious marks and an effect on your body and this is where Type's immaturity kicks in.
Regardless, Mew (despite his blatant lack of singing skills) is obviously a great actor and the control on his facial expressions... I'll have to stick around to watch him if nothing else. I can understand the hype of the show when it was released but not anymore
Besides, Mork being the decent guy that he is doesn't make Muang Nan feel obligated to cut off Pi neither does he hurt Pi by making Muang Nan turn him down. He wants to win Pi’s affections completely on his own (it wouldn't be true otherwise would it?)
