You can tell that Jane Patrick isn't in love with Jane –yet, because it's hard not to fall for that dude. Jane is so sweet, personable and cheerful that it radiates in his smile, it's hard to nab such a character in terms of script and acting so as to not make him come across as annoying but they've accomplished that.

But Jane Patrick is not in love with him and that makes it scary. You can see how Jane's actions leave an impression on him, he is taken aback by Jane's genuine feelings for him and yet Jane Patrick is not softened because right then, right at the moment when Jane is looking for his gift, Patrick is messing with his little brother's head. This man really does not care and this is the worst type of manipulation, he's not going to hurt Jane but he'll hurt everyone around him

The pilot and trailer covered 3 eps only? Makes me anxious about how deep we're going to delve into this psychotic behaviour in upcoming eps

I'm sure the three part novel has more to offer on this but even from what we've seen, Jane is not just a nice guy but he cares for the ones who are his friends and family. Jane Patrick however, his actions be are possibly downright evil. Unless there's a supernatural twist to this, the fact that he's human but so terrible so as to be likened to a demon makes him something of an antithesis

The actress playing Ai is doing a splendid job, it cannot be easy having to imitate a robot. Their interactions are cute but all over the place, and it's walking a thin line–they even reference how sex toys are banned in Thailand🤭

“She feels warm like a human”. Gen is such a softie–but her considerate actions and softness can evolve into real tenderness with disastrous consequences. I don't think it'll sit well with me if at the end Ai has to "die". But she feels appropriately robot if you get my meaning, Ai makes me a little bit uncomfortable. Its exactly like those ai dramas, they make me uncomfortable and hence I avoid them

This is a great first ep.. If this is anything like Love beyond dreams, there's going to bit of fantasy (what's with Gen's dreams) mixed in with mystery and lies. The first ep does a great job of setting up all the storylines
