Some times I wonder what it’s like for these actors to act cruel roles well, than end giving him hate by people in real life.
I remember reading that the ML for Goodbye my Princess had to lock himself inside because of hate, he even rejected all scripts that he was offered involving that particular FL.

I did watch it but didn’t hate him.
I don’t hate anyone including characters. Hating is the same as killing a person.
And when it comes to dramas, I may dislike the character or get annoyed but never hate.
About his character there, I think he did a great job to portray a complicated character. I was more interested in understanding his goal to make it make sense of his very grey character.
I didn’t like his relationship with FL, it was grooming and I’m very much against that.
In that drama everyone was gray, including ML. So there’s no character that was more loved than others.
Agh looking at preview of 13 and 14, makes me wanna skip, I can’t believe he’s simping over someone he didn’t share life and death experiences with. But General Li is my fave, so I’m conflicted.
Does Li Qin and Gu Ping Yuan end up friends or enemies? Just curious.
Yes, they are still good friends so far. It’s something I also wonder for the future.
Seeing that his father has a guest role in the drama, I suspect that something bad will happen to his father in future episodes, and that will change his worldview, making him an enemy.
