The male lead was good, too. One of the rare occasions where I don't end up hating the female lead; I actually liked Yun Ge very much.
He is charismatic and elegant and acts really well and I simply adore his cute side I saw in Qing Luo. And his dimples which make him look like a little boy.
I liked the mystery solving theme very much, liked the two leads, liked the subplots; but there was something off regarding the timeline of the events. And that uncle ... what a ..... better not say anything, even Tian ar didn't want to have anything to do with him. Worth watching!
Just started this one. I wasnt expecting to enjoy it so much. I even like the female lead which is very rare for me. Hope it'd be good to the end. PS. Finished. It was better than I expected. But ... the amnesia theme is definitely not to my liking and I mean the second one; there was the same subplot in The Legendary Chitose-Sama and I skipped the amneis episodes in both series. Also I hate it when characters decide to face a danger alone and not tell anyone about it. Why should Qing Luo not tell Xi Duo about their child being poisoned? She could have easily asked for help without revealing the secret from 7 years ago. And I am not sure if I got what had happened 7 years ago at that banquet. Had he saved her from a predator? Who had drugged them? Her ex husband? And who told him that Nan Nan was his son? I guess I missed some parts.
This is a cute/mafia/murder/revenge/love story that is well made for a short drama. The main actors are really good, the plot and its flow of events are ligical and it won't let you get bored. Totally worth the time you spend on it. Just one ponit: I don't understand young women's complex about their lips. The female lead is very beautiful and she acts so well but for some strange reason her lips are fillered up and look unnatural. I wish young girls would stop ruining their faces with unnecessary procedures.

How come Bi Wei Jun's characters are always so disgusting?! First Shadow Love and now this. Her sister is irritating and annoying, too. I skipped all their scenes. I'm on ep 12 and I came to hate the female protagonist of yet another Chinese drama; I hate ungrateful stupid people.
It can be considered a happy ending but I was hoping for Pei Ji to become the emperor. Who could fill that position except him?! That frightened good for nothing useless little brother of his? Absolutely not.
