After ten days or ten years or even ten decades, if you love, you love and if you tolerate, it's habit. It's this simple. I hate stories or dramas that try to complicate the question and manipulate the viewers minds like this.
Abother big disappointment after Early Spring! First, anyone who priotorises any goals or causes over human beings, is toxic; nothing is more important than people. It was mentioned in the story that the painer mother of Si Xian had left her and her father because of education and work and the claim that her husband didn't understand her because he had told her not to punish a child because the child had ruined one of her paintings. Priotorising a painting over a child makes this painter a toxic person in my view. Second, anyone who breaks up with you or gives up on you because of a reason outside your relationship with them, is toxic. Si Xian broke up with Meng Yu not because he didn't love or respect or support her, but becasue he tried to support her and that would have meant she couldn't go back to flying as soon as she wished. Just how ridiculous and cruel is that! This mother and daughter are emblems of selfishness; just the type of people I consider toxic and stay away from. Chasing toxic people is a big NO in relationships. Outside factors should not have any effect on a relationship. Someone who breaks up with you for such a reason is not trust worthy because outside factors might change at any time and then you will have to be waiting for them to leave you once again. And ...Justifying this lack of loyalty and sincerity is an ugly dirty thing to do whcih is happening a lot in drama world. I watched and enjoyed this show till that ludicrous break up, but after that just fast forwarded the 4 or 5 ending episodes just to see what happens. A waist of viewers' time and actors' talent. Maybe you can watch until that dangerous landing and then just stop.
If she forgive him right away, she would have been called a doormat with no self respect.
She doesn't need to forgive right away but she doesn't need to be so rude or to make fun of him or to make dirty jokes abiut him either. She's not a doormat, but she is also not a good person.
Loved the female protagonist! It's a rare occasion coz 99% of the FP's in chinese drama are the type I hate. There was just one incident in the plot I found irritating about her; her being late for her birthday surprise her husband had prepared for her and then lying about being late because she was working when she was actually having a date with that appaling lawyer.
A formless mess of constant treacherous actions. I tolerated watching the whole thing only because I like the male lead and I also wanted to know what happens at the end. And again at the very end, the writer did not stop to make even a bigger mess. I gave it a 5 but story wise it's a 0.
So she left home and he didn't care enough to even call her or try to find where she went?! Is that what he meant when he said during that one year he'd love her and take care of her and be kind to her? I thought he was a gentleman at first but this showed he's just a good for nothing bump. PS. I changed my mind. Hes not that much of a bump. :) ok, he's not s bump at all.
2 more eps to go. The flow of events got a little rushed and convoluted towards the end. All the mysteries laid out is getting solved so fast there is not enough time to process them completely. But the good points were the actors and the characters; apart from Qing Qing who was irritating and annoying. Loved the leads but I didn't get the reason behind Ya Ar's actions or lack of them for that matter, in the ending episodes. His beloved woman was marrying his father and he just waited 15 days and did nothing and then suddenly decided to make a move on the wedding night?! That's so illogical. Story wise, the subject matter was interesting but it wasn't well managed. Still it kept me watching to the end. An 8 to me. Ps: Finished. I changed my rating to a 9. The leads were so good and lovable I don't want to lower the ratings without a good reason.
Multiple worlds, transportation, and love extending from one dimension to another. I liked the actors, liked the main couple (despite the girl being annoying at times), hated the bad guys, and enjoyed the gradual development of the characters. I just wished there were more scenes from the the final demotion in which the characetrs ended up together; we didn't get to see how Woo Ming looked like there.
Dropped it on ep 21. It got boring with the girl constantly opposing her husband. It's like her existence depends on opposing the pooor guy. Yet another Chinnese series with an annoying selfish female protagonist.
Seriously if Jianan does not understand what it means to insist on touching a woman's hair and is ok with just any man tying her hairband for her, she doesn't deserve Bo Yan's love.
Enjoyable and fun, except the part with the Witch. I skipped most of that part. And those Jiang siblings were really annoying. But the main couple were really good. I saw Ren in Destiny's Love first. He was good there, he is even better here.
