I just watched hus costume work where the empress was about to die. The story was good (it was a cooy of a korean movie i watched many years ago with Kwin Sang Woo as the male lead) but GOD this script was written by a 4 year old. Cancer patients lose their hair not because of the cancer but because of chemotherapy. What on earth was the scriptwright thinking makjng the empress go bald?!!!!!!
They have to stop using voice actors for Chen Si. If the work is to be dubbed, he has to dub his own characters himself. No other voice can match his own. And the actress can't act cute. At the furst scene where she was all snobbish and abusive, she was excellent but after change, her cute act was too pretentious. The theme was interesting but the script wasn't developed well.
The scene where he finds out about the abortion and confronts her ... his subbing ... my heart broke for him. And it seemed to me that she never came to actually love him; he was like a last resort. She constantly played coy, lied, kept secrets, looked for love elsewhere ... . The ending ... not steong enough. But like 90% of dramas I watch have very bad endings.
The version of Chen Si I like the most; half devil, half angel. But the ending was .... kind of off. Her mother was dying, her man was dying... and then one year later everyone was miraculously healed and well?! I don't like sad or ooen endings but this happy ending was too weak for my taste as well. Yet as I loke both the actor and the actress, I enjoyed watching this one.
So she was a cheater to her husband, a traitor to her parents and a horrible mom to her child, and just by losing her memories because of a fall, managed to fool everyone to forgive her?! She is what she is. Getting hit in the head and losing one's memory will not change who they are. She cheated once, she will cheat again. Dealing with cheating like nothing has happened just because the cheater is a woman, is disgusting. It's disgusting regardless of gender. This is like the worst drama I have ever watched.

Just finished watching. Time travel does not change one's dna. She might pretend to be different but she is she. The good point of the script is that here he knows she is insincere and frivolous but still can't stop loving her. And the refrence to A Painted Veil adds to the positive points of the script.

Basic Idea: A woman's existence depends on a man's feelings. Sorry but the idea behind this script is rubbish. I only watched it because I like Yu Feng.
