The opening song is from Wanuka (和ぬか on Spotify) and the song's name is Love to Kishin but I haven't found it at all on any streaming platform so maybe they haven't officially released it yet
I watched it again and i need more. Any recommendations of similar dramas?
If by similar drama you mean something sweet in office settings with men who actually (kind of) know what they're doing, then I can recommend the following: -Sono koi, Jihanki de Kaemasu ka (movie) -Love is better the second time around -Perfect propose And here are some more that I personally didn't like but that a lot of people seem to enjoy: -Cherry Magic -Senpai, Danjite Koi dewa! -Our Dining Table All these dramas are romances between men with at least one of them who works in an office and they're all good vibes!
I don't know what's Thailand's obsession about rich guys but oh god how I wished Prapai and Payu hadn't been that rich. 2 reasons: 1, It's completely useless for the scenario (except for the racing but they could have found their way around it), at no point did Payu or Prapai take their boyfriends to some crazy place, at no point did Sky or Rain feel impressed by their money or whatever, so, useless. 2nd reason, if the production hadn't spent so much money in renting all theses expensive spots/cars/houses, they would have had some left for the editing!! Seriously what the hell?? The camera shots are good, the lightning is great too but the audio is straight up garbage and the editing is so messy. Even the shows with the lowest budget always care for the sound above everything so I really don't get how the production thought one second that this was ok. (otherwise great story lol)
I actually jumped when they kissed on the bed at Toma's place cuz I'm so used to Japanese drama with awkward, single pecks on the lips and this drama was flowing just like any others so I surely didn't expect this. Would have appreciated a little more build up though
Don't get me wrong I love Ishida but after episode 4 I feel like Mitsuya and Noguchi's relationship is so deep that I want to see them together now lol
(ep2) damn that coach is gonna be problematic lol. Also I think all of this is super cute and stuff but I cannot stop thinking about how Yagi Yusei had to do most of the scenes alone on a green screen and that makes me sad haha
The end of episode 5 is where they stopped in the story with the movie so I'll hate on it one last time lol but THIS SCENE! Same dialogue, same emotion, almost same staircase but that really proves how the same thing can be totally different depending on the director. When the director really knows what emotion they want us to feel, knows how to frame right and how to guide their actors then we get master pieces like this episode. It was truly moving. Kobayashi's expressions especially were so on point I could have forgotten it was acting. I haven't read the manga so I'm excited about the rest of the story now that the part adapted in the movie is over!
I liked episode 3 but I'm confused. There were absolutely no room for misunderstanding after ayaka's confession at the end of episode 2, so why is Hiroko still doubting her lmao
I liked it cuz I'm fond of cute friendship stories. All the scenes where the original 5 people gang gathers warmed my heart. I do admit that it was a bit boring though, as there is almost no serious drama going on, and once the couples got together there were no evolution and they just kissed all the time which made it less and less special each time. I loved Fang and Tan though, the scenes where it's just them two were all amazing and it was so sweet how Fang's eyes were shining when in Tan's presence.
OMG! The first episode was sooo nice and promising! I'm a sucker for healthy and wholesome couples and these two's relationship is such a green flag so far! I couldn't stop smiling the whole time and I can't wait for episode 2!
I watched it, and I think you should watch it too to make an idea for yourself, but also to appreciate this version…
Maybe hate is actually a bit too harsh of a word lol. But basically, I think Kouhei's problematics were really badly approached in the movie, which made it hard to understand his point of view. He never communicated about his struggles and just had an attitude that left Taichi agonizing most of the movie. For example, in this drama, when Taichi opened up about his family and kouhei didn't hear him, he told Taichi he really wanted him to repeat it because he was the one to say that it was not his fault he didn't hear. Kouhei in the movie would have just been pissed about it and ignored Taichi for the next few days without saying anything. Also, most of what he heard and couldn't hear didn't make sense. Sometimes his mum would mumble behind his back and he'd hear it clearly, but then someone would speak clearly right in front of him and he'd ask them to repeat, which gave me the impression that the director didn't actually pay attentions to the details and it took me out of it a few times. BUT that's just my experience, so I still think you should watch it because when I checked the comments a lot of people actually enjoyed it so it's nice if you have your own perspective!
did anyone watch the movie version too? is this better? its one of my fave mangas so curious abt the adaptations…
I watched it, and I think you should watch it too to make an idea for yourself, but also to appreciate this version even more. I hated the movie to be honest lol but this drama shows how the problem was not the story but probably the directing.
I'm loving it a bit more every episode. In the movie adaptation, kouhei's character was really badly depicted and I found it hard to empathize for him. But here they did such a great job getting us to understand his feelings. Also, it's soooo refreshing how they communicate with each other and the little parts where they don't communicate actually make sense so it's not frustrating at all.
(ep 3) I liked that the old guy didn't act mean or angry at any time. It really shows that sometimes stalkers can appear super sweet, and even have only nice intentions, but it still doesn't make it ok to act that way. Usually in movies/drama stalkers are portrayed as super creepy and say crazy super villain stuff, which gives the audience the message that if a stalker doesn't behave this way, then it's not a big deal. Now that being said, Taishin himself is kinda creepy lol. I'm sure Takara has developped feelings for him already, so it's not that much of a problem, but if I was in his shoes I'd be super creeped out if some dude I spoke to once changed school just to follow me, then entered the same club, then kept trying to do nice things for me without being asked anything
Hi! I didn't watch it with subs as I speak Japanese. But if you check the comments on the Dramalist page there…
Sorry I couldn't help more! I know what you mean, I'm not fully fluent yet so for more serious dramas I always try to go for subbs first but some of them are just impossible to find... Hope you find it for this one though cuz it's worth it !
Oh my, where do you watch this from? With sub? Thanks!
