Hey, maybe I'm over analyzing everything, but it kinda looks like everyone was assigned to one of the seven deadly sins within the friend group (aside from non and white) Jin's whole characterization is built around Lust Fluke just sat there without ever doing anything for Non - that's Sloth Por wanted all control, merits and credits and be better than anyone -that's Envy Top was the craziest one, most violent and loud, Wrath Tee entire being revolved around money, so Greed Tan ruined the plan because he wanted more and wouldn't stop until everyone was dead altho they had succeeded already - that's Gluttony And finally Phee took part in Non's death because he felt betrayed and hurt in his Pride It's just a thought, none of them were that obvious except for Jin, but yeah that'd be cool
By chance do you recognise the piece that Lert (colonel) play in the piano in Ep 1?
I was curious too so I looked at the spotify playlist but i wasn't in it. I looked at the credits at the end of the episode, and only 2 pieces out of all the listed are not in the playlist, so I looked it up on youtube but I couldn't find it. Didn't find it either when I looked up the composer list's work. I then shazamed it but it doesn't come up either... My guess would be that it's Beyond the coulds (grey sky) because it's the only piece in the credits that doesn't have lyrics or any special arrangement, but can't find it anywhere. If you happen to find out anything else, let me know!
I must be very stupid but neither the director nor the screenwriters are the same as KP.
If you look under "screen writer and director" section, you'll find them. Don't know why there are so many people but my drama list separates those who only write the script, those who only direct, and those who do both
Alright I'm 100% loving this, but I noticed it's the same directors and screenwriters as kinnporsche, which was fun at first but lost all its logic towards the end, so I'm praying this show is going to be different and stay strong until the end
can sb please explain Lert and Naran's story line? i might be overthinking or just literally confused help kk
Well, both of them have regular chronicles in the news paper under pen names, Sarasawadee and Klai Rung. Because of the opinions they each express in their texts, they get interested in each other without knowing who is behind the pen. Lert is a gay guy who has lost his passed lover (not sure if he's dead but oh well) and is stuck with a wife he does not love + responsabilities he does not fully agree with, so I'm guessing he got curious about Sarasawadee to the point he wrote an article with a hidden message he knew Sarasawadee would understand to finally meet him. When they ended up in front of each other, Naran's reaction and the first encounter they had before was thrilling enough to create attraction between them. Nothing serious so far, just a gay guy who cannot live his life the way he wants and an angry journalist giving into the tension. I'm guessing it will evolve into more in the future. I'm loving this storyline so far, I cannot wait to see how it turns out for them.
It was fun, I liked the scenario changes they made, but the rythme was SO off. The movie was 2 minutes shorter than the OG, but it felt way longer because they kept stretching useless scenes and comedy scenes. Like that whole dramatic moment when Titi Walks in the rain after being betrayed by his ex? Long, cringe, pointless. And because of that they had to cut off super important scenes, like the ones with the father. He had way less presence in this version, which made the whole final scene at the hospital less impactful. Also, I liked in the og that the mc was a super realistic straight ignorant man. Thinking he has it all because he looks cool and is strong, but has a shitty and closed minded personality while still being well intended. Menn was just a loser. Not even that homophobic, which made the development less interesting. And although I love Billkin and PP, the characters were way less friendly with each other in this version. It was basically just Menn doing his things and Titi giving him disgusting looks, until it suddenly wasn't and all the sudden we're supposed to believe they were super friends. Overall, everything felt like a caricature of the og movie. So yeah, fun but quite disappointing
OH MY GOD GIVEN THE PREVIEW FOR EP 6 IT SEEMS LIKE NISHINO IS FALLING IN LOVE WITH MINAMI! I hope this is the road to a perfect 4 way polyamory relationship and not them breaking up lol
Nooooo i'm so torn cuz of course I want her to end up with Hikaru but Kurotaki is sooooo sweet and understanding and they are actually a very good match, it's gonna rip my heart apart when she chooses Hikaru over him
I finally watched it. It was awesome, super cute, the acting was on point but.... I really need the directors to stop casting Yagi Yusei for highschool roles. He's a great actor and his performance was very good, but he is now 28 years old, was 27 when they shot the movie. Still, it would be fine if all the other actors were around the same age as him like in My Beautiful Man, but here the FL was 16 when they shot the movie, and most of the other actors are also under 20. The difference is very obvious and it made me cringe quite a few times, especially during the kiss scene.
The screenwriter and director be like: Let's make a strong woman character to convey the message that women are capable too!
*Proceed to include no other impactful woman character in the story, to have her succeed in nothing in the first two rounds and even rely on a man cuz she got hurt and finally to make her give up on her convictions after accomplishing absolutely nothing probably cuz they didn't have space for her anymore in the scenario they wrote themselves*
I was enjoying this show quite a lot until now, I would even defend it against all these people saying the scnario was trash, but I have to admit it's starting to feel like.... a domundi serie
I couldn’t edit to add…I do enjoy bl dramas, but this one was hard to watch I had to stop. I would be interested…
Don't worry, a lot of people share the same opinion as you, me included. If you look through the reviews you'll see some that point out everything that is wrong with this relationship haha
Head's up to Keen for being one of the best bottom main character out there. He is so utterly human. Sweet and upright, smart, actually takes actions in whatever needs to be done, carries the entire plan all the time... but still breaks down when faced with hardship, is absolutely annoying sometimes, reacts strongly to people's bullshit and is a bit sick in the head lmao.
When half of the audience hates the character and the other half loves him, you know you're doing it right. And I specified "bottom" main character because most of the bottoms out there are just damsels in distress who can't form a single initiative thought.
I loved in this episode how Kita said he was Nishino's boyfriend and that he loved everyone, because until now it kinda looked like he was just going with the flow without really putting any meaning into it, so it's so nice to hear that he actually is very aware of his situation lol
First episode was nice but I kinda feel like the rythm and the dialogues are a bit off. Also there are a few scenes with only one or two different shots which makes it very long, and in some of them i feel like we're missing some important stuff, like how we only had a shot of Natsuo when he asked Hiro to date him and nothing of Hiro's reaction. I believe it's probably more of a budget issue rather than a directing decision though
Alright, that was funny as hell. If you guys like ridiculous/situational humor you'll definitely love this one. I was a bit creeped out at ranmaru and rihito's relationship sometimes cuz rihito is really portrayed like a child, but other than that it was really good. I loved Aoi's actress in this, she was absolutely adorable
Jin's whole characterization is built around Lust
Fluke just sat there without ever doing anything for Non - that's Sloth
Por wanted all control, merits and credits and be better than anyone -that's Envy
Top was the craziest one, most violent and loud, Wrath
Tee entire being revolved around money, so Greed
Tan ruined the plan because he wanted more and wouldn't stop until everyone was dead altho they had succeeded already - that's Gluttony
And finally Phee took part in Non's death because he felt betrayed and hurt in his Pride
It's just a thought, none of them were that obvious except for Jin, but yeah that'd be cool
