First episode was funny but I'm actually glad it seems to go a bit deeper than just light comedy. I have no idea what's up with Kita but I'd love to learn later that he's more than just some guy who goes along with everything

This looks promising! In just one episode, they already went over the whole process of reconnecting with an old crush, confessing and reciprocate the feelings which usually takes the entire drama when it comes to JBL, so I have no idea what's coming ahead and that's super exciting

100% agree for SornJun. I was actually mad for the whole tongue kissing thing and it's getting tiring how it's just Sorn pushing pushing and pushing. I think that kissing scene would have been so much hotter and satisfying if it had happened a bit later like next episode when they make up, and Sorn respected Jun and just gave him a few pecks but then Jun himself started using his tongue. I think Sorn not giving Jun the space to get comfortable again and come back by himself is what's the most frustrating in this last episode.

Just my opinion and my standards which is not the same for everyone, but here are the stuff he did, aside from the whole not being honest thing, that makes me think I'd rather stay single my whole life than have someone like him try to date me:
- Got angry and grabbed Jun's face last episode when Jun was trying to explain himself (which is something someone does when they're holding themselves from hitting or when they're trying to shut the other up)
-Did not think a second he'd give Jun a bit of space and texted him creepy stuff like "you can't run from me" or "just wait till I find you" (Sir I'd be scared for my life if someone texted me that)
-Finally appologized this episode but put himself in the victim position when he claimed everyone was against him
-Kept ending every argument by "But I love you now" "But I want you" "But I miss you", just staying self-centered until that last conversation on the swings when he finally adressed Jun's feelings for half a second
-Constantly pushed Jun's boundaries. Trying to steal kisses, hugging him, using his tongue etc when Jun keeps telling him no and looks so uncomfortable each time. Forcing someone until they give in is not cute, but that wouldn't have been that deep and we could argue that he knows deep down Jun wants it, except Jun actually expressed out loud (in tears) last episode that Sorn was always the one who wantedi and pushed for intimacy, not Jun.
To sum it up, he's self centered, stubborn, controling, lowkey agressive and doesn't respect an ounce of what Jun has to say.
So yeah, sorry that's a long comment for something that is not that deep but I'd say those are the reasons why people call him a redflag. Doesn't mean we don't enjoy the show though

Alright I'm still pissed with Sorn but I have to say that him trying to bribe Jun with lollipops was very funny and even a bit endearing

But at the beginning of the serie it happened again which probably means it still occurs to this day. Not that big a deal, just takes away a bit of realism

Alright, episode 8 was absolute fire, as always editing is especially amazing, JimmyOhm part specifically was breath taking but I have a small insignificant ick: Why does Paytai has no scar on his back? They delivered such a touching scene with the father whipping him and i swear I could have felt his pain, but the fact that his clothes didn't tear and he had absolutely no mark on the back kind of took away the strong feeling. That's not much but still I think it's a shame because everything else is portrayed so well

I do agree that a lot of Gmmtv's show come with its pack of cliché/slow motion or pacing, but still most of them hold rythm somewhere. As a recent example: STGD has a few long, useless dialogues but the comedic timing and the reaction pace is dynamic so it's acceptable. I actually love slow pacing and long shots when they have a purpose (like Thame looking into Po's eyes for a very long time before making so that when they kiss it feels like a breath of fresh air)
But in this 1st episode everything just felt unnecessary and it looked like the Director simply enjoys poetic, cliché, overdramatic melodrama style. Not the end of the world, just not my style

1 episode in... This was painful to watch, mainly because of the pace. Awkward long reaction shots, Unnecessary slow motion (doubled by the insufferable "oh no I tripped!" cliché), veeeeery long exposition shots (like when Thee was sorting out the clothes in his room) and pretty uninteresting dialogues.
I'll still watch it cuz I believe it's a filming style that can be excused in period dramas with such elegant settings, but yeah I don't expect this one to become a favorite. Mek and Dech do look promising tho

Yeah, I actually think it was a good NC. I was just shocked at first cuz they kissed for half a second before straight up digging each other's pants hahahaha but I agree with you regarding Knock Out too. Good thing they did better in the following ones

I didn't really like the NC at first cuz I thought it looked more like they were just craving for s*x, not really each other, but then I realized that's probably what happens when one is forced to betray and definitely leading a loved one to their death, and the other one just shot a woman. There was a lot of pressure to release there lmao

Yeah well he did to Tai, and I completely agree with what Tai said after that: Now what? I actually have good hopes for the rest though cuz the Author seems to also think that just admitting his feelings won't excuse his actions, so I'm excited to see what he'll pull out

Really? Was it like a "Yeah well I'm a predator" or more like a "oh shit I'm a predator"? I don't speak Thai but I wanna make sure I understand his character fully

alright, 5 thoughts on ep 9:
-Jun's expression when talking to Sorn on the bed was absolutely HEARTBREAKING
-Him telling Sorn to fuck off and especially talking about how only Sorn ever initiated the s*x was the best scene in the entire serie. Oat's acting was over the top.
-I loved Tai's reaction to the whole thing. Calm but still strict and clear.
-The way I had to pause every time Sorn came back all agressive about Jom because he screamed so much I needed a break each time lmao.
-Sorn just got himself a ticket to the top 5 worst BL redflags ever. I can forgive him being all scared about his feelings while still being jealous. But jump physically on Jun each time he approaches him? Grab his face when he's trying to defend himself (which is btw the kind of moves abusive people pull when they're holding back from hitting and even if not abusive is the most controlling thing you could do)? Text Jun creepy shit like "You can't hide for long" or "Wait until you meet me" instead of a very simple "I'm sorry"? Man this guy better have the greatest redemption arc cuz in no way right now do I want them to end together at anypoint.

The only one that I have watched that was actually good is Call me by no name, but it's a japanese one and there're very few japanese GL series... I'll keep hoping for a Thai one!
