I felt lilke season 1 was more action packed and had better storyline than season 2. Not to mention, we didn't…
*sigh* Part 1 and Part 2, the conclusion of a 30 episode arc. Stops comparing. It’s the same story, just finishing UKs and Naksu’s journey, as well as the rest of the mages.

We might get a spin-off with UK and Naksu hunting the remaining relics; look at Jaewook last post there is a cat,…
I for sure think you will not get LJW as Jang Uk again. He spent 2 years of his career on this already. HS own this story, so another writer can’t do spin off. Just won’t be the same.

So, ending was kinda meh for me. Wait hear me out. See the whole plot in S1 revolved around Naksu. In S2, the…
I saw it as UKs journey to his destiny. Naksu was part of it, and his love story. Everybody got caught up in Naksu the assassin, refused to see her journey as well. She is strong in spirit. Uk helped her to realize that she was in a weak body and could not be the assassin she was, unless she soul shifted again, as she first intended to. Episode 18 was all about her accepting his love and CHOOSING to step away from killer soul. She was selfish, and had to learn to love. Episode 20 showed how bad it was for Naksu to return as assassin. Episode 29 was about her realizing that there is chaos in soul shifting. The merciless master forced Uk to that conclusion. Her refusal to let him stay in Gwido, but to go on his mission to kill the pack of evil soul, shifters, because that was the right thing to do, without excuses and justification was the most powerful moment.

Part 1 was all about her excusing her behavior because she wanted to regain power. There was no purpose. Not revenge, not pointless killing, just to be strong, which can lead to evil.

Part 2 was about choosing to do right. The heroes step up, with clear purpose to protect others. Park Jin’s stand was so powerful, because he did have to choose to sacrifice Kim Yeon and himself, but he did it anyway.

Uk chose to let Naksu go, because BY explained the stakes to him for doing nothing. The world would burn. He had to let BY’s divine powers emerge, so she could help him take out the Firebird.

Being strong is not always about being physically strong. HS usually have FL who overcome their circumstances with mental toughness. I look at the arc of the story. I loved GYJ as Naksu in Episode 1, but there was no purpose to her coming back as an assassin. That’s why I loved JSMs journey as the bad-a$$ stuck in a weak body, because she had lessons to learn as well as Uk.

Part 2, was truly about Uk and Naksu’s love story, but also with her final decision, without excuses or justification, that she is a soul shifter who brings chaos to the world and must be eradicated. That’s ballsy.

I love her role as a soul shifter with purpose, to protect Uk, and they hunt relics.

am I the only one who really does not want any more parts/seasons? especially now that we got this ending, no,…
You are not alone. Hong Sisters are not in the game to make money off extended seasons. They are story tellers and like the new worlds they create.

Honestly, this was one of those rare dramas where they change the leads and managed to still make it work. The…
I think the different appearance was the point of the switch. It was intended all along. Remember the female lead who was first cast was a rookie, and people probably would not have cared as much, as an actress like JSM with many fans. JSM came late to this production and did a great job.

she couldn't be a mage/fighter and a priestess with divine powers for AOS reasons, that wasn't her body to begin…
Viewer expectation versus writers storyline. What we going to do. Yes, it’s a waste of the actress’s abilities, but I was following the story, not bias.

The problem is like everything in life, we will finally let go of this drama and there will be a wave of people…
Yes, but many with discover it in years to come, and many will revisit through RE-watch. I still go back to their Master’s Sun, even though it’s been 9 years?

cho yeong returning just to be known as jin bu yeon..... that was disappointing
Well, her body is gone and she’s occupying someone else’s. It’s about appearances can be deceiving when you soul shift. She got a second chance at life, without the burden of the Naksu reputation. She can do good, is accepted by her friends, loved by her husband, and perhaps extend the Jin bloodline with divine powers.

I see love and hope. The promise of the daisies.

You see they have given a little open ending. Like they didn't show Jinmu's dead body.Naksu's blue markMaybe if…
Did you not see the final scene? Her eyes turned blue again. Do the body count of incinerated bodies. I don’t think Uk would have made that mistake. He burned them all.
