Yes that's why i want jang uk to know her real identity before she gains her memory so that we can get cute romance…
I agree. The only way she might get through the trauma is if he knows first and lovingly guides her to self forgiveness and redemption.

overrated af
Instead of the ranting from Part 1, I see many passive aggressive comments that mean to provoke. This is a discussion thread. Explain why it’s overrated?

I wonder what personality we’ll get from Yeong when she regains her memories as our experiences and memories…
I’m hoping she stays bright. They keep foreshadowing she’s the light he clings to in his darkness.

What we’re saying is that you were focused on one actress and and her role, and did not follow the storyline.…
You were being provocative by saying the writers changed the story to change the actress. I’m just saying that the change was always integral to the plot. The Hong Sisters started this drama in 2019, long before casting was even started. I happen to like JSM and was grateful she replaced the original FL to keep the project alive.

However, I didn’t like the fan wars that erupted which detracted from my enjoyment of the story. I was correcting you because you seemed confused about cause and effect. The story was not changed for the actress so the actress could be changed. It is a continuation of a story that is 30 episodes long.

And Tetrahedron IX, you are right, no use explaining, because there was an agenda to provoke. Kellie, it’s ok. You only proved yourself. I’ve seen your other replies. I was trying to keep an open mind that your were genuinely ignorant.

wonder what's the turtle and go won is all about. I was thinking if it was referring to yeong
And I’m so dense. I thought it was a metaphor to describe his personality! He doesn’t want to see things because of his ego and attachment to Jin Mu, so like a turtle, he just pulls his head in his shell and hides. Like an ostrich too, but turtle is funnier.

However, the you tube version had him talking about an actual turtle! Haha.

The evidence on screen shows otherwise, but whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess.
CP gave him permission to bring down Uk. Jin Mu used Naksu to do so. Jin Mu then redeemed himself in front of the King, saying he was looking for an soul shifters and wanted to prove Songrim was behind the AoS. Hence, CP’s guilt for huge consequences to a petty grievance, because Uk annoyed him. Jin Mu is still around because He plays the CP and manipulates his loyalty for mentoring him in his youth. He is easily manipulated by his ego, much like Papa Jin. Jin Mu, the snake is good at milking human frailty.

In Part 2, CP is annoyed with Uk, like a splinter (he belittles UKs importance and is irritated by his contempt). Uk compares their pain from splinter to “the pain of being stabbed in the heart”. Uk taunts him that his now too significant and powerful now to ignore. And that CP never knew the difference between an act of stupidity (to deny being the Kings Star) and an act of vigor (walking away from power. CP wants power and respect. Uk didn’t care). Uk gave the CP a chance to shine as the Kings Star, taking false credit, which made him uncomfortable. CP was petty because UK was content to fade away and live quietly with Naksu/Mu Deok.

Yes, I think so too. And he has gorgeous robes in that behind the scenes pic!

Hahaha! As long as he gives us delicious food! Good thing Park Jin is not doing the story telling….they’d never come back!

Well, nothing is fine. And they are showing the consequences of Naksu’s rampage 3 years later. To understand the aftermath, Part 1 showed the original dynamic. It’s not a new story,, but a continuation. To blame it on an actress change is petty. Discuss the writers intent instead of the actress issue.

What we’re saying is that you were focused on one actress and and her role, and did not follow the storyline. Many other fans did the same.

This is very much a continuation of the story. The change of face always was implied by the soul switching premise.

DAY 3.QUESTION OF THE DAY.Who is the character you think has the most character development till now??? (Plzz…
Jang Uk. And what’s better, we saw the seeds of who he would be throughout Part 1. As LJW promised, the Jang Uk we loved is still there, but forged by the traumatic experience he suffered.

Now, I know the reason why Jang Gang blocked Uk's energy gate. He knew Uk's the whole life is going to suffer…
Yes, he did not want Uk to be envied and stalked. However, he should not have thrown Do-Hwa under the bus.

You can see from Yul’s styling (pale lips) that he’s in pain. His interview even said that the direction his character is going. And he still remains the staunch friend and morally upright mage. No need for people to say he’ll be a snake.
