Esther dubbed her own voice, Dylan is dubbed not his own voice for sure. the others I'm not sure someone need…
I'd read it somewhere but didn't make my own research tho. It sounded all about right for me, and he really sounds different when XLH's in his body. But I'm not so sure now.

Actually, Dylan dubbed his own voice too. But only in the scenes where they're switching bodies hahaha

I am happy that I find someone just as passionate about Zhou Shen! My friends and family are so done with me talking…
Thank you so much for your reply! It's funny because I've JUST shared with my friend a few Zhou Shen's songs haha. Can't agree with you more that he deserves recognition (from everybody hehe).

Oh my God, I also watch reaction videos to his singing from voice coaches! XD Firstly, it's nice to hear that someone compliments your idol. Secondly, it's very educational itself.

Don't worry, I'm planning to continue watching "Our song"! Having finished the third season, I know that the interactions between partcipants are also very fun to watch. Which is exactly in the case of Shen Shen and Li Keqin but I also want to see some Shen Shen & Ayunga moments (loved them in Super-Vocal).
Oh, you went through Chuang XD I've seen the collab between Zhou Shen and Andy, very nice! And it really touches my heart. This and the fact that Shen Shen graduated from Lviv Conservatory of Music, which means that he learnt in Ukraine, close to my home country, Poland. So so close!
Yeah, they're talking too much in Treasured voice 3 but that's okay for me, I'm playing it in the background while learning and only focus when there're some singing parts (and Shen Shen of course).

I feel you! I've seen a comment somewhere that he signs in Love like Galaxy but I haven't checked it out yet. And I'm slightly disappointed that he didn't make a song for A dream of Splendour haha. His voice would fit there so well!

Oh, I'm sure you've seen these two performances of his hihi. Yup, hope other readers will watch it too! You can bassicaly recommend every song of his because every single one is so good c:

First of all, thank you sooooo much for your article, you've truly put a lot of effort in preparing this! I'm always saying that more people should know about Zhou Shen (and I'll always be repeating this hehe) and thanks to you, surely more people get to know him.
And agree with you in 100% that one can talk about Zhou Shen on and on and never finish (my friends know something about it aready xD). This is how precious he is!

But really, Zhou Shen is one of a kind. And your choice for the headline is more than accurate - his voice trully is kissed by angels. So pure and clear. But not only this - the control which he puts in his singing is just phenomenal, his technique - perfect. What I love about his performances is also that he is well aware what he's singing - he can interpret lyrics of the piece well and make it a beautiful, yet fascinating story. Adding to this, he's extremely hard-working and humble.

I've known Zhou Shen from 2018 when I was listening to some random playlist with mandapop songs on Youtube and "Big Fish" just popped up. I fell into a trap as well - I thought that it was some woman singing. Naturally, when I learnt that it was a boy, I was hugely surprised but at the same time incredibly interested in him and his story, so I started to follow him and his journey.

In 2019 I discovered "Super-Vocal" and, I believe, it was a great breakthrough for him. We could observe how he was gradually gaining self-confidence. And yes, he was very pampered by others contestants haha. But how couldn't they? During the performance of "The Lonely Goatherd" Wang Xi said himself that their group had charm which hadn't the other one - he was talking about Zhou Shen then.
Next, in 2020 I watched "Singer". I was always anticipating his appearances in this programme. His and also Mao Buyi's, but unfortunately he starred in only 3 episodes (I find their friendship so precious too and yes, we need more collabs of their in the future). But Zhou Shen's rearrangement for "Wu Wen" was a beautiful tribute to their friendship, as you've said in your text. Also his change in this show is very noticable. He started from his widely recognizable "Big Fish" (love this rendition btw) and made through such surprising performances like "Dalabengba", "Baby dasvidaniya" and "Ring the Doorbell".
When it comes to "Our song", I'd seen only like 3 episodes and then stopped 'cuz I started to wach the third season of this show which had just been coming out at that time (I'm also a big fan of Xue Zhiqian xD). As for "Chuang" - well, the episodes were way too long so I just passed this one.
Now I'm watching "The treasured voice 3" which isn't quite my cup of tea (judges for professional singers? why???). But I love soooo much his collabs with Corsak and Liang Long there.

And of course, there're plenty of OSTs as Zhou Shen is called "the king of c-drama OSTs". When some drama I'd like to watch is announced to premiere I'm literally praying for Zhou Shen to make a song for it (you don't even know how happy I was when I learnt that in "The Blue Whisper" I would be able to hear his and Mao Buyi's voices!).

For the end let me recommend his two performances that I find very terrific. One is a song called 《画绢》and was written for the 2020 CCTV programme 《衣尚中国》(https://youtu.be/9L5wk1eZOMA) and the other one is collaboration with Lang Lang and it's basically their rendition for "Big Fish" and "Scarborough Fair" (https://youtu.be/YQcqPD_wLoo).

So once again thank you so much for this thorough article, you've done a really good job! I'm pretty sure that thanks to you more people will know about Zhou Shen and his tremendous works! And sorry for this lengthy comment, I just simply can't shut up when it comes to Zhou Shen xD

Oh, that's nice to hear! I wish more people knew him, He not only has that captivating voice of his but also can tell stories with it. I'd say his singing has some kind of a healing power. Soo can't wait to see his fan guide being published!

Zhou Shen really is a prince of chinese dramas' osts. His voice is beyond beautiful!
And I would also add to the list soundtrack from Ten Miles of Peach Blossom - "Liang, liang" became a classic one to me! And Word of Honor's ost is worth mentioning as well.

On Our Song Season 3 Nov 28, 2021
This season is just fantastic, I love it. You can clearly see that all of the singers are getting on welll with each other, especially Hu Xia, Lam laoshi, Xue Zhiqian and Chuinalisha. They even seem to be like a family when they're together. And there's something special when Lisa calls George Lam 'yeye'!

Review Love O2O
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to read my (rather extensive) review and respond. It’s always nice to know…
You're welcome! It's good to share your reflections, it allows people think of series from different point of view (and maybe save their time xD).
Yeah, the story had a great potential but the drama itself is the best example on how bad acting can spoil a show. Maybe I'm being too harsh now but it is how I see it; if someone's enjoying the series after all, that's a good think too :)
